To all our clients we want to apologise for the loss of our phone line 01622 858666 at our Harrietsham site - which has multiple lines on it. This line was reported to being down to our provider on the 22nd December! Since that date we have being phoning our provider - which is not BT by the way, multiple times per day. We are getting no logical or excusable reasons for the phone outage and are as perplexed and as annoyed as you all are. We repeat, this does not appear to be a BT or an Openreach issue but rather our local third party provider. We have escalated this to Ofcom and we await their reply also. We can only apologise for this truly unprecedented and inexcusable lengthy breakdown of 18 days at this point!

We have had a deceased male tabby cat brought in, found on Sutton Road. His is neutered and chipped, the microchip is registered in France but the phone numbers are not working.

We have had a grandparents memorial keyring dropped in the practice earlier in the week - Possibly Tuesday.
We would love to reunite this with the owner ☺️

🐰Meet Thumper🐰

Thumper was in with us recently for an abscess on his ear! Thumper is roughly 9 months old and is already bigger than some of our feline patients!

Our nurse Georgia is a huge fan of rabbits and just had to get a photo with him! Georgia recently became a RVN meaning she is fully qualified! What an amazing duo this pair is 💕

Beautiful Otis came to see Lydia the vet this evening because he had broken one of his nails!
Luckily we were able to remove this easily and after a clean, some pain relief and a bandage we hope he will be feeling much better ❤️
He was such a good boy for the whole experience and wagged his tail throughout 😍💕

🎆Tips for Anxious Pets regarding Fireworks🎆

Fireworks can cause stress and anxiety among pets and wildlife. Here are some tips to help with anxious behaviour towards fireworks:

🐾 Stay with your animals, be there to reassure them.
🐾 Make somewhere dark and comfortable so if they want to hide, they can do so.
🐾 Avoid late night walks, arranging an earlier walk, can make it easier to settle down before any fireworks begin.
🐾Ensure your house and garden are secure, as animals may want to flee to avoid the noise.
🐾 Listen to music or switch the tv on to help disguise the noise. Classic FM will play Pet Classics between 7pm-10pm to help calm anxious animals.

All the staff would like to wish our clients a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, hopefully not too often! 😉
