Dog trainer vacancy - £25 per hour Kent & South London.
We are presently looking for a qualified or suitably experienced dog trainer / dog behaviourist to carry out home visits in the Kent and South East London area plus residential training (to be able to conduct residential dog training from your home is essential for this position).
Applicants MUST live in Kent or South East London.
Home visits involve travelling to the clients home to assist them hands on in and out of the home with their dog. Calls could include anything from puppy training to dog aggression. Only positive training rewards are to be promoted.
After the visit the trainer is then responsible for completing a typed report to be emailed to the client within 24 hours.
All home visits are sourced for you with the expectation that the dog trainer contacts the client that day or the next morning.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, be efficient and capable of report writing. If you already run a dog training business this venture could still complement your established career. Likewise we would accept applicants from serving emergency services with secondary employment permission / guide dog / therapy dog trainers or members of dog training institutions.
Applicants MUST be in a position to contact customers within hours of receiving the booking details and have an excellent level of self motivation.
We are NOT is a position to train you unfortunately.
Excellent rates of pay and when appropriate further work could be obtained for you, up to £25 an hour.
In your CV you must include:
• The area you live
• Dog training / behavioural modification experience (not study based)
• Any dog training organisations associated to ie: BIPDT IMDT etc
• Are you able to offer residential dog training?
• The name of your dog training business (if appropriate)
