Hi all! After an amazing Christmas and New year, along with a lovely break to Mauritius, we are back to business.
We have been very busy here at Essex Silkies, all our pens have been piled high with new bark... meaning no more muddy pens! Whilst our own garden is still a tad wet, all our Silkies are currently living a life of luxury.
10 tonne done, another 10 tonne to go!

We have integrated all of our keepers into our breeding pens and of course being Silkies, they don't just take themselves off to bed, they make us put them all to bed manually every night which is probably amusing to watch, but its one of my least favourite chores! Anyone else have this problem, I'm sure you do!

We are now open as usual and cant wait to welcome back our lovely customers!
