Here we have Rozi who is a rescue & only been with the owner for 4 weeks. Rozi is dog & human reactive. The first clip is the owner arriving with Rozi, the second clip was moments after with Doug demonstrating to the owner what Rozi is capable of, he will then teach the owner how to achieve this. The third clip is Rozi with the owner amongst the other dogs! Amazing!!!🐕🦺🌟🐾🐾
We welcomed Zuco & his owners back to the club a couple of weeks ago 🐾🐾
Stephanie, Ben & Zuco first came to training back in 2021 when they had just started to foster Zuco. They knew when they first got him that he needed some training to improve his behaviour around other dogs, after being turned away by other trainers local to them- every week they would make the 4 hour round trip to club! They were very welcome to train with us.
What a commitment they made & as you can see Zuco hasn’t forgotten any of it!
Zuco was adopted by Stephanie & Ben - he now has his happy ever after ⭐️
Wow what a class today! I don’t think we have had this many since the summer ☀️
It really is great to see so many people wanting to train their dogs ⭐️
Training is a gradual process & you may not see an improvement immediately but start the process, put in the time & it will be worth it!! 🐾🐾
🌧️
What a committed bunch we were today! 🐾🐾
Even in the rain we were out training our dogs, just the way it should be, progress being made in rain or shine 🤩
🐾🐾
We have dogs at training that are at different levels of capability. When we start teaching the ‘down’ we will build on the length of time the dog is left. Some here in the video can remain in the ‘down’ for 10+ mins or with the owner out of sight, where as others would be just 10 seconds. This is a gradual process & the time can be slowly increased.
Today we had quite a few new dogs all starting out on their training journey! 🐾🐾
Sunny Sunday! ☀️
A big class today which was great.
We covered quite a few exercises and welcomed some new dogs/owners.
In the video we are using the ‘stand’ whilst the owner moves away from the dog 🌟
Don’t forget we also have our Wednesday class which runs from 2.30pm for 1 hour 🐾🐾
A few videos from training recently 🐾🐾
Doug with Poppy the Dutch Herder ❤️
Bailey the Weimaraner weaving amongst the other dogs, very focused on his owner 💙
And finally the ‘stand’ for all the dogs 🤩
What a great class today 🌟
Heel work all together amongst the other dogs followed by individual heel work weaving in & out.
This is a regular exercise that we do at TK Dog Club & as you can see all the dogs are focused on their owners not pulling or trying to get to other dogs as they pass by.
Well done everyone 🐾🐾
Training in the shade of the oak tree 🌳
Leaving the dogs in the stand was the final of 3 exercises, the first & second exercise was the sit & down with the handler walking out of sight around the tree then returning to the dog without them moving ✨
All did very well today, access to water at all times & the early start was perfect! 🐾🐾
Beautiful sunny morning today & such a great group of dogs & owners ✨ 🐾🐾
Some of the training was done in the shade to keep the doggies cool 😎
Just a short clip from the end of todays session-great focus from all the dogs! ✨
If you are looking for a group to join, please feel free to make contact- whether you have a puppy or an older dog, a big or a little dog, training is great for them all 🐾🐾
Just a snippet from a video taken today 🐾🐾
Here we are increasing the length of time that the dog stays in the sit, we have a dog passing behind & Gus who is only 6 months is being a little star 🤩 Homework for the owner 🤣
