Imprint Sport shoe fitting with modifications.
This is a 36-year-old Connemara with chronic laminitic changes to her feet, further complicated by her pronounced toe-out conformation and uneven foot fall. With astute hoof trimming, hoof building and shoe modification this mare enjoys pain free mobility.

Bill was my first patient of the day. He does have a short leg, but the reason he is here is because he is so cute!😊

Here's a 6 year old hunter that has had the complete toe crack repaired, but it is still mobile, in the upper half and not improved. He was shod with side clips presumably to hold the foot together. In my experience this often just concentrates the mobility of the toe to the weakest part being the vertical crack.

“Great to see so many farriers at Focus. A number of you said our new glue ‘Imprint Ultra-Fast Adhesive’ has been a game changer with the fitting of the Imprints. Also, some of you mentioned it is excellent for sealing old nail holes and filling superficial cracks. Give it a try – see the results.”

A laminitic Connemara in Recovery.
In recovery from acute pain and highly vulnerable condition through to recovering well. Now greatly improved comfort wise, but still very much on restricted mobility. Managed this way I am optimistic for a positive outcome.

This is the fifth visit by farrier Andrew Poynton to this recovering laminitic. At this stage the right fore was detaching hoof wall, so quite extensive debridement was required. Keratex putty was put on the quarters either side where the tissue was soft, but not sore. Then the whole foot was disinfected before being rebuilt with Imprint Hoof Repair and shod with Imprint Sport. The left fore was much more straight forward.
