Right … here goes a rant ….

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am sooo supportive of new groomers … I love to encourage them , advise them and help in any way I can!!! And it makes me feel good when they are doing well ….!!! It warms my heart!!

BUT….

I realise a couple of established groomers have had to stop working for reasons of their own … I know people are desperate for a new groomer … and such as myself, Abi Mills, Rebecca Russell, Natasha Stantonat Cosmopawliton…. Dawn’s Dog Grooming … and Mishkas do quite often have a wait to get booked in ….

However there is a new mobile groomer out there that is charging peanuts and we are having to fix her work afterwards, costing you all a lot more in the long run….

Please people … you get what you pay for …. Stay with your local groomers … it’ll just cost you more in the long run x x

Just a polite notice to my customers….
I know I’m taking a while to answer messages… that’s for a reason….
I have had a whole four days off since the 4th of May …. I’m exhausted…. I leave you unopened in order to try find any cancellations for you … repeatedly messaging me won’t get you in any sooner I’m afraid …. I can only do what is physically possible ….

Please understand that I’m doing my best to keep up with you all but I’m literally working myself to an early grave ….

I understand that a few groomers are shutting down and I can totally understand why … it’s because we are killing ourselves working for less than minimum wage after the expenses….

Saying that my prices are going up considerably…. Letting everyone know in advance … plenty time for you all to shop around for someone cheaper if needs be x x x

Apologies to my customers booked in this week. I’m in the hospital and will be here for the next few days . Unfortunately I haven’t got everyone’s numbers saved on my phones and I apologise in advance if anyone turns up to a closed shop 😕 .

I’m afraid I’m fully booked … I have no spaces left for the next 8 weeks …

I understand they are desperate , I understand that they are matted and you need them done for Santa paws, but it’s likely that you missed your last appointment and lost me money ….but it’s your responsibility to make sure your dog is booked in in time in advance for Xmas …

I’m done working extra hours, Sundays and bank holidays to accommodate you without even a thank you or a one pound tip….
please understand that I am working 7 days a week , I’m working 13 hours a days to try accommodate you all …
My regular customers who book in advance make sure that their dogs are booked in and there’s no problems..
But I’m too soft and I’m giving up my own time to spend hours on your dogs … I’ve had no time to even go Xmas shopping myself…

From now on if you don’t book in regularly , or you leave it to the point that I’m dealing with severe matting I will be refusing to groom …. Please find another groomer because I’ve not had a minute to do my own Xmas shopping , I’ve not even had time to decorate my own house …
80% of my customers are fabulous and I’m so sorry, this is not directed at you ….
I am DEFINITELY not taking any new customers on …….
But to my regulars, I hope you have a wonderful Xmas and I love you and your furbabies Lots x x

Teddy you gorgeous thing ! Fur like cotton wool lol Teddy has the body of a whippet … so what I’ve done today is take his body short but have left longer legs to disguise his really thin legs …. He looks fabulous 🥰❤️💙 x x

SEASONAL CANINE ILLNESS
We have started to see cases of probable Seasonal Canine Illness in dogs that have been walked in the woods in Woodhall Spa.
Although no one is sure what causes canine seasonal illness, it’s suspected that it could be linked to harvest mites. Harvest mites (Neotrombicula autumnalis) are tiny, bright orange mites that live in soil. Infestations are most commonly found on the ears (in Henry's Pocket) and in between toes. They can also be found on the legs, armpits, ge****ls and tummy.
SCI typically occurs a few days after walking in woodland, and causes symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, low energy, a high temperature and muscle tremors.
Left untreated, canine seasonal illness can be fatal. Contact us immediately if your dog has symptoms of canine seasonal illness, especially if they have recently been in woodland, or have harvest mites.
