Feel good Friday story!! This is Indie a beautiful work in progress. Indie's new owners first brought this 10yo Irish Setter to us 6months ago with quite a challenge on their hands. Indie weighed in at a staggering 40kgs and in need of a groom. Our first groom was mostly conducted on the floor of the salon, we had to be extra diligent of her limbs, conscious of timing and aware of her overheating- all down to her excessive weight. The last two photos are Indie now after 10kgs of weight loss!! Her new owners have done an incredible job and our second groom was a completely different experience- like grooming a different dog! We're so proud of her, her owners and to be part of her journey!! ❤️

Kath and I are overwhelmed by the support, love, messages, reviews, comments and outpouring of loyalty we've received over the last few days! (We once had 5* but dropped to 4.5 because of the 1* rating) I'm utterly blown away and immensely proud and grateful. All I can say is thank you. 🐶🐾❤️❤️❤️

Hi Groucho's groupies! Those who know me, know me well. This has deeply got to me- I know it shouldn't, but it has. We've been set up- maybe a competitor.. who knows. "They" showed up a week prior to booking an apt. Showed themselves around our salon, took our number then later booked in for an "intro groom". They paid "£25", arrived 30mins early and dumped their dog, then complained and left a one star review. The condition of this animal was heartbreaking and Kathy was left with physical scratches and scars on her arms. I don't believe in turning the other cheek when animals and good people are concerned. The review is a blatant lie but more importantly an animal was "used" as bait. If you feel as incensed as I am please report the review as "fake and deceptive". Much love, Jenn

Due to our increase in clientele and bookings I am struggling to find last minute appointments for your fur babies and I hate letting you down!! Sooo just a polite nudge to all our amazing clients that we would advise to prebook your next appointment at least 2 weeks in advance or at your upcoming appointment. Thanks team Groucho's

Dear clients,
Due to the increasing costs of supplies and equipment, I've reluctantly had to increase our prices. I've refrained from doing so for the last 3 years, but with the current cost of living increase, I've had no choice. I will do my best to be fair, and as ever, the welfare of your four-legged family members is and will remain my priority.

I can not recommend and enough! As a single mum and dog groomer my body takes a battering a good 6 days a week. I always am blown away by how much better my body and mind feel after physio!!
