Ryedale Dog Field, located just outside Malton, is North Yorkshire's original enclosed dog walking field facility.
There are two fields on site, Ryedale at 2.5 acres and Railway at 1 acre. Both are drive-in fields with hardcore parking areas, have field shelters, optional obstacles and bins for easy waste disposal.
The enclosed fields offer a large space for exclusive use.
Appointments are made through an online booking system which leads you through a simple step by step process.
Ideal for exercise, training, reactive dogs, dogs with unreliable recall, dogs (and owners!) requiring rehab and/or recuperation and those who prefer their own space.
Fully insured, including use for XL bullies without a muzzle (must be from one household).

Do you remember the swallows we showed you that had hatched in a nest in Ryedale Field? Well now they’ve fledged 😍
We are so lucky to have a variety of birds and wildlife close to the fields. Which birds have you spotted?

The Mower Man videoed these 4 swallow chicks with their tireless mother in the shelter at the weekend. They love the long grass for hunting flys and insects, especially the maze! And if you visit our fields at @pickeringdogfield you can often see a buzzard flying overhead!
A number of you have been asking what sort of condition the fields are in so here is a little video of Railway Field to show you.
Our fields have held up really well with the deluge of rain we have recently been exposed to. They have a great covering of grass and we don’t have any muddy patches so we are happy to keep to our usual opening hours.
