Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dog Walker, Pet Sitter & Pet Visitor
Are you passionate about animals and love working outdoors? I'm looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to join me as self-employed Dog Walkers, Pet Sitters, and Pet Visitors on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves pets and is looking for flexible work.
Who I’m Looking For:
🐾 One Applicant: To work alongside me in the Blackley, Crumpsall, Kersal, Prestwich, and Whitefield areas. You’ll receive full training with the potential to take on more responsibility and eventually go it alone.
🐾 A Couple More Applicants: To cover other areas across Greater Manchester. You can choose the areas you’d like to work in and build your schedule around them.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You can choose to focus on one, two, or all three roles..
🐾 Dog Walking: Walking dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
🐾 Pet Visits: Drop-in visits to provide in-home care, including feeding, playing, and basic care for cats, dogs, and other small animals.
🐾 Pet Sitting: Staying in the owner’s home to provide longer-term care for pets while their owners are away, ensuring their routine and comfort are maintained.
Who You Need to Be:
🐾 Animal Lover: Someone who truly cares for pets and understands their needs.
🐾 Experience Essential: Previous experience looking after or owning pets is required.
🐾 Flexible & Adaptable: Availability to adjust schedules and respond to last-minute changes when required.
🐾 Driver: Must have your own reliable car and a full UK driving licence to travel between locations.
🐾 Resilient Under Pressure: Comfortable working in all weather conditions, managing multiple tasks, and dealing with unforeseen challenges.
🐾 Trustworthy & Responsible: This role requires someone reliable who can work independently and respect the trust placed in them by pet owners.
🐾 Good Communicator: Able to provide clear updates and communicate with both myself and clients when needed.
Requirements:
🐾 A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required for the successful applicants.
First aid training for pets (or willingness to complete it before starting).
🐾 You will be insured under the business; however, as a self-employed person, you will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contributions.

Location:
🐾 Blackley, Crumpsall, Kersal, Prestwich, and Whitefield: One applicant will work alongside me and receive full training.
🐾 Rest of Greater Manchester: Additional applicants can choose their areas to work in.
Hours: Flexible part-time hours based on demand. You can choose to focus on one, two, or all three roles, with the potential to increase hours and responsibilities over time.
Pay: Competitive rate per walk/visit/sit, to be discussed.
