⭐️ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING⭐️
Yesterday we welcomed a new client to the salon - a 13yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever called Lottie.

Her owners had consulted the vet about her teeth and they had been advised that going under anaesthetic for a vet dental would not be the safe choice in her case.

So other options were looked at, leading to Lottie’s visit to our salon ❤️

We are thrilled with the initial results but there is still lots of work to do. A mixture of brushing at home with enzymatic paste, suitable treats and maintenance sessions with us make up the care plan going forwards.

Please note that we are responsible providers of ultrasonic teeth cleaning services and will ALWAYS advise a vet visit if there is evidence of tooth decay or gum disease.

⭐️WE’RE OPEN AS NORMAL⭐️

Just a notice to let our customers know that we are still open as normal today and all scheduled apts are going ahead.

If you have an appointment booked with us today and are struggling to get to the salon due to the weather, please contact us asap.

It is forecast rain from lunchtime so this may very well melt the majority of the snow (we hope).

⭐️HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!⭐️

Tomorrow is our first day back in the salon and we can’t wait to see you all ❤️

Please take care getting to the salon if we do experience any ice and snow overnight! ❄️🌨️

⭐️THAT’S A RAP!⭐️

The DogzBody Team are finally finished until next year (that sounds so strange!)

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our wonderful customers and their beautiful dogs. Without you, we wouldn’t be here and doing a job that we love ❤️

We also wanted to thank you all for the lovely gifts. The chocolates and biscuits have kept the sugar levels at an acceptable level and given us the energy to get stuff done 🤣

We are booking up heavily for the new year, with most clients block booking til next Christmas. Believe it or not, Christmas week 2025 is almost fully booked already 😳😳

We wish you all the most wonderful and relaxing festive period, and can’t wait to see you all in the new year!

⭐️REMINDER TO PICK UP MAGNETS⭐️

We have a handful of clients that still need to come and pick up their Christmas photo magnets.

Our last day is the 23rd December and then we will be closed for nearly a fortnight.

As we are incredibly busy in salon, please drop us a message before visiting to check that someone is available to answer the door.

Not dog related but if any of our customers are at a loose end on Sunday, Fran’s choir are performing at the Refuge in Manchester.

We’ll be performing some well known and not so well known Christmas songs, along with a few Pop/Indie/Rock anthems!

There’s also a DJ and bar, so no excuses 🤣

Puppy Visit ❤️

Fran had THE best time grooming Isla the Mastiff puppy today. She was so good and full of kisses 😘

Judging by the size of her paws, she is going to be HUGE! 😍

For just £10, we will send you the digital version of your dog’s photo and we will also create a large magnet for you to take home at the end of the appointment.

ADDITIONAL magnets can be purchased for just £5 each.

ITCHY DOG?

Winter time can be challenging for both dogs and their families as there are alot of allergens knocking about…
The mould from the fallen leaves can transfer from paws to other parts of the body quite easily, causing irritation and hot spots.

We also see a build up of dander and dirt as double coated dogs start to lose their summer undercoat, resulting in heavy shedding. This can be an itchy and uncomfortable process too.

A professional bath and blowout can really help ease the itchiness, get rid of dead coat and neutralise wet dog smells.

⭐️We are offering a FREE mudbath with every bath and blow dry groom that is booked in from now until end of January ⭐️

This lovely lad is all fluffed up and ready for the festive season… he’s been told that he’s not allowed to jump in any muddy puddles until the big day 🤪
