Crazy that this is how well our beautiful Skye walk's compared to how much she would pull when I first started walking her, such a good girl🥰🐶🧡
Just what we like on a group walk, lot's of use of their noses🐶🐾
Just a quick appreciation post for the lovely Skye💗
I have been walking Skye for a little while now, when I first met her she didn't really enjoy her walk's, was very nervous whilst out, pulled really strong and her only mission was to get back home! (Skye was rescued by her owners a year ago and doesn't have a very nice past from what they know)
Anyway, after many walk's this is how she now walk's for most of our time out! She is soso much calmer, walks nicely beside me and when feeling her lead getting less slack she tends to slow herself down a little, she even now has sniffs on her walk, which just shows how much more relaxed she is rather than focusing on just getting back home! She still has a way to go, as she is still very reactive to other dogs and small animals bless her and is still timid about a few other things, but to find a route she is comfortable with and have her walking like this most of the time is a huge achievement! She is only going to go further in the right direction as she has her first session with a behaviourist tomorrow, so sending her all the luck for the weekend🥰🥇
(I am not a professional trainer by any means, just wanted to share how much she has progressed on her walks😁)
