Happy Friday 🫶🏼💚…

Theo is our ‘Dog of the Week’. He’s just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. He has a smile on his face all the time and has been amazing with every new starter and making sure no one is left out.

He knows how to play with every dog in their certain ways and gives the best bear hugs and loves to play catch. He was even an angel when having his teeth done this week.

It’s an absolute pleasure having Theo in our care 🤩

So this week’s certificate has gone to the very beautiful Lilly 🤩..

Lilly has been here right from the start and has never had any issues. She’s so good with all the dogs especially with new and nervous dogs. She’s even an angel when she comes for a pamper. She has a heart of absolute gold and we LOVE having Lilly in our care.

Very sad day today, sadly the beautiful Dora has crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 😭…

Dora was such a character, the definition of a gentle giant. She had been there right from the start of Megan’s dog grooming and one of her very first customers ( after being banned from another 🤣).

She was always such such a good girl and a pleasure to pamper. Sending love to all of her lovely family at this very difficult time for them all 🫶🏼💚

📣TABLE FOR RENT FOR SELF EMPLOYED DOG GROOMER 📣

Happy Houndz Denton opened in January this year. We are a daycare and dog grooming facilities and we are looking for someone to join our friendly, dog loving team.

A suitable candidate for this opportunity will have -

⚪️ Your own customer base (there will be opportunity to take overspill customers)

🟢 Provide your own public liability insurance and any necessary insurance for yourself.

⚪️ Be equipped with all your own clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, de-shedding tools.

🟢 At least 2 years Dog Grooming experience

⚪️ The ability to provide references if needed.

🟢 Ensure the salon is kept in a clean and tidy manner and full clean down at the end of each day.

⚪️ Own bank account and method of taking payments remotely from the shop.

🟢 Own method of taking and recording bookings and managing customer drop off/pick up times so there are not several dogs waiting in the salon at any one time.

What we provide -

⚪️ Shared use of 2x stainless steel baths.

🟢 Your own trolly, hydrologic table, blaster, towels and cleaning equipment.

⚪️ We will promote you on our social media accounts.

🟢 Toilet and kitchen facilities are provided, tea/coffee etc.

⚪️ Fixed weekly rate

So this weeks certificate has gone to the blonde bombshell that is Phoebe 🤩 !!!!

Phoebe has come on so much from when she first started. She was a very nervous dog when she first joined us and now couldn’t be further from this. She is a massive hit with everyone at daycare with the dogs and staff 🤣.

She plays so well with everyone and knows exactly how to play with everyone and gives the best cuddles. Well done Phoebe.

📣 PLEASE READ 📣

Sadly there has been confirmed cases of Kennel Cough at Happy Houndz Daycare this week. This can happen regardless of the vaccine and is very common this time of the year. Your dogs health and wellbeing is paramount to what we stand for as a company and have made the decision to close the daycare for the rest of this week to give everywhere a deep clean, replace toys and bowls to stop it from spreading.

This decision was not made lightly and we are gutted to do this as I know a lot of you rely on us but your dogs being okay is more important.

Signs to look out for:

Coughing
More tiered than usual
Upset stomach
Snotty nose

If you notice any of these symptoms please let us know.

Once again we can only apologise and can’t wait to see you all soon.

Grooming appointments will still go ahead as usual.

We will back open Monday 22nd at 7:30 💚🫶🏼

We have some VERY exciting news to share with you all. The amazing Ash at Pretty Paws Dog Groomers is promoting her beautiful Chester to Big Brother 😍 !!!!

Ash will be an amazing Mum we’re all so happy for her. She’s going to continue to work till she’s able to. But Megan & Emily will be helping look after her clients when she goes off.
