Study shows that people who sleep with their pets in their bed have lower levels of anxiety, stress, depression and loneliness compared to those who did not. The research suggests that that the companionship that a pet provides helps reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety. Physical contact with a pet can help increase levels of oxytocin, which is known as the cuddle hormone and is associated with feelings of happiness and well-being. 💖
