When can I stop wearing these stupid things? 😅
Dingo has had his check up, is healing nicely, the drains have been taken out 🙏 so no more daily dressing changes (he didn't enjoy them)
The test results show the mass in his bladder was a polyp, the spleen was in a bad way with cancerous tumours- fortunately benign. If we hadn't caught it when we did it likely would have ruptured. They took some cells from the testicular hernia, but now suspect it could be a testicular tumour instead.
But for the moment he's just focusing on recovering. 🥰

Hi everyone, just thought I'd give a little Dingo update. He's been for a check up today, feeling much better but was relieved that it was just a short visit at the vets 😅. Heart and pulse rates are good and strong, healing well but he's keeping the 2 drains in his tummy until Monday, then they should be ok to take them out. Still waiting on the test results but we don't expect to get those until next week.
Here is a pic of him in his little onesie- much more comfortable than the cone and easier to move about in 😄

Hey everyone, some of you may be aware already but Dingo has had a few vet visits recently, so I thought I'd post an update. We took him in on the 5th because he had a swelling in the groin area. We were told it was a hernia and we had to take him in on the 6th for scans. Whilst there he had some teeth out but the wound didn't seem to be clotting so they plugged it up. During the scans they noticed a mass in his bladder and an abnormality with his spleen. Later that night the gum where his molar was removed became unplugged and started bleeding again. At 2am we had to take him to the emergency vets after he vomited up his dinner and a lot of blood. Thankfully by the time he was seen it had clotted and they were happy for him to go home.
He was scheduled to go back on the 9th to fix the hernia and remove the mass on his bladder but it was postponed to the 16th due to him being very anaemic.
Yesterday his bloods looked good and they were happy to go ahead, priority being to remove the mass on his bladder and investigate his spleen, then to address the hernia.
The mass on the bladder was removed, the spleen was grossly abnormal and was ultimately removed. However at this point Dingo's vitals dropped and he had to be resuscitated and woken up.
The spleen and bladder mass are being sent off for tests, we should get the results by the end of next week, finger crossed they are benign and not cancerous.
Hes back home now recovering, sulking about having to wear a cone but he's feeling better. He's just had a bit of an ordeal 🥺
(The tail bandage is just due to a bit of an upset stomach 🙈)

Loose dog on the loopline by linnyshaw Estate at 11.15. I'm sure i saw it by hopefold earlier. It's just sprinted off towards the garden centre. Very nervous
