They are both Dogs 4 Rescue pups who have both now been adopted but attend daycare on a regular basis!🥰 We love being able to see so many of them after they have been adopted and it’s amazing watching their confidence grow each time we see them💜

Boulder has left us, and we can’t believe it.

One of our very original dogs who came in the other day to see us for the first time in our 3rd and final unit. I used to collect him first on my trip in the morning to daycare and drop him back in the early days. Now, near 20 years ago, he’s gone over the rainbow bridge to join so many of our daycare family.

Each one has created their own special memories for every one of us, however long or short we have known them. Our thoughts are with Boulder's family who are now having to learn to live without him. Sometimes its only then do we realise they take a piece of our hearts with them forever.
He was so lucky to live a life full of love its all a dog can wish for. We are grateful to have been a part of it.

We are grateful for all the dogs who have joined us over the years and we never forget any of those who have crossed the bridge. We will be making his leaf for our remembrance tree which will stay with us forever.

Sleep tight gorgeous Boulder. You were a pleasure ###

There is nothing we love more than being able to celebrate your dogs special days with us! Today we are celebrating both Dustin & Obi’s 4th birthdays🥳 Dustin has been coming to daycare since he was tiny and Obi was also young when he started with us and now they are pretty much friends with everyone here both dogs and staff🤣The most friendliest happiest boys you could meet!Happy birthday boys🩵🤍🥳

A bit of training. Goes a long way 🐕🐕

Sometimes people don't realise what goes into a daycare day. There is a lot of training - whether it to be for crowd control 😉 or more brain draining to release energy in different ways. We do all sorts! Here are just a few of today’s. Sits, stays, spins, .... all developing connections with the staff and building trust which will help at other times of day. Thanks to our fabulous new facility and all it's many areas we can easily set up 1-2-1 training time. We would of course love to hear of any specific training requirements you guys feel we could help work on, in our setting. The day is not only about having fun and relaxing, but also learning and practicing new skills. Skills that help them coexist with different dogs , make friends and most importantly trust their dog handlers.

Anyone for a playdate? 🐶🐶

Anyone for a playdate? Some dogs love to play with anyone, some just play with particular friends, some like to join in when we organise activities, and some of the oldies like to watch from their sofas. With lots of different groups and areas we can tailor each dog's day to their energies and play preferences. But always with lots of friends around 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 #makingdogslivesbetter

Fireworks desensitisation in our home-form-home lounge

Such care. Our wonderful Charlotte stayed late last week helping desensistise some doggies to fireworks in our home-from-home lounge. Just one of the ways our staff go above and beyond. We hope all of your dogs were okay over the weekend, it really is the most terrible time of year for all animals. As per our recent message if you want to collect your dogs early tomorrow we completely understand.

Funds from our profits go to saving dogs lives and making the first and leading free running dog rescue in the UK. We are one big family, with customers adopting dogs from us as friends for their doggies too. All our dogs are already temperament assessed and cleared for suitability for daycare before rehoming.
