Unexpected friendship of the week goes to Rocco (the usually very stubborn Frenchie) and Kali (the Rottweiler). We also have Brax back with us after his Christmas break, eagerly waiting looking through the window in the back door as always. ❤️

Day cares are dog ruiners, said this for years. Dog Walking/Sitting/Adventure Days > Doggy Day Cares. I can’t imagine how obedience (which every dog owner strives for) can excel/be taught in an environment where 10/20+ dogs are running wild.

All gone. My next availability will most likely be in the summer. Keep your eyes peeled if you’d like your dog to join pack walks, it is usually on a temporary basis whilst some of my teachers dogs are off! ❤️

Few snippets of a very busy and snowy Friday at ADW, didn’t manage to get a snap of absolutely everyone as some of my dogs are allergic to staying still for a 📸. Had some compliments by members of the public on my dog handling which is always nice to hear, makes the job feel so much rewarding when people recognise that pack walking is actually a skill. 🐶

As we are officially closed for business today (as much as I hate doing so, I hate how this country shuts down when it snows or encounters any adversity). Here are a few snaps from a few of our walks from the past few days, when I actually managed to brave taking my gloves off. I love walking in this weather, it's a shame how gridlocked the roads become because of it.

I just want to nip on here to say a huge thank you to my customers (extended family) for your Christmas tips, gifts and cards. I sometimes find myself downplaying how big of a role I play in your dogs lives, not only do I walk your dogs but I play an active role in their training, health and happiness. I am forever grateful for your trust/loyalty and obviously allowing me to have the perfect “job”.

👁️👁️ eyes firmly on the last full walking week of the year at Atherton Dog Walking. My last day of walking will be Christmas Eve, returning week commencing the 6th of January. We are still full going into the new year so unfortunately my diary is still closed. Still no plans of expansion or hiring walkers as I have seen this play out so many times in so many different varieties of businesses - expand, the product gets worse. I will try my best to push out more dog walking content in the new year, it’s quite tricky as a pack walk based dog walker to take regular photos/videos of my walks. I know that my customers know the level of service they get from me regardless of content posted but it is always nice to see your dog on your social media feed (I know this first hand as a dog owner).

Anyway, I have definitely rambled on enough. Over and out for the year (almost). 🐶❤️

I am now away (after my walks today) until the 24th, I will reply to any messages/enquiries on the 25th. The only downside of enjoying your job so much is that you sometimes forget you need a break too, just like everyone else. See you all soon.
