Meet Matcha the Pomeranian and Sunny the golden Dachshund who we exported back to Hong Kong at the weekend. We have been working with Mum and Dad Margaret and Cohen for several months getting everything ready for them to return home. Coincidentally exactly a year ago we moved Matcha and Sunny’s cousin, Hiro the Shiba Inu back to Hong Kong and we didn’t know everyone was related.
Sunny and Matcha met up with Hero when they returned safe and sound to Hong Kong

This is another chocky Labrador who arrived a day before his dad from Canada so we collected him from the airport after his clearance and dropped him off at Newgate for an overnight stay. He had a good old sniff fest before checking out his accommodation.
Dad picked him up the following day and now Cadbury ( yep that’s his name ) is somewhere near the Lancashire coast.

Meet Zeus and Tui who have just arrived in New Zealand and are spending this week in quarantine, whilst mum and dad buy new beds, bowls, food and much more cat paraphernalia 😊 for when they come out later in the week. Perfect travellers from Manchester to London Heathrow flying to Auckland via Singapore.

I do love some of the names that our clients give their pets. Meet Otis the Cockapoo and Mrs Weasley the the DSH cat and Thundercat the DLH cat all destined for Dubai and they all arrived safe and sound and living it up in the Emirates

The world of pet travel sometimes has it’ minor hiccups. In this case we were moving Hamish to Dallas Fort Worth and he was due to leave on the 4th October but unfortunately the temperature in Dallas was in the 90’s (Fahrenheit) and Hamid was grounded til the following Tuesday 10th. No problem! I just collected him on the Wednesday morning and he checked into our favourite boarding facility Newgate Kennels in Wilmslow near Manchester Airport. Our friend looked after the big fella until I collected him and took him down to London Heathrow and checked him in on American Airlines who were brilliant.
Some photos of his journey from checking out his bespoke travel kennel to arriving in Dallas where he was met by mum and dad and our friends from the Pet Porters who are looking after his rather large travel crate and then moving him back to the U.K. in the new year.
Hamish, by the way, took everything in his stride.

Hey everyone, my apologies for my absence and for not updating our pages with recent departures and arrivals.
I’m going to start with Gloria the Dachshund, who has neither departed or arrived. She is just starting the long journey to Australia and she popped round to be measured up for her travel kennel, which she took with her as she wants plenty of time to get used to her temporary travel home during her journey next year. We will see more of Gloria in coming months.

Our latest traveler “Hiro” the gorgeous Shiba Inu, although the guys at the airport thought I was sending a Fox to Hong Kong 😊 cute little guy and as I’m texting he is being loaded into the aircraft ready for his trip.

You may remember a pet called Silva who we were relocating from the U.K. to Melbourne, Australia. And due to the logistics and need for Silva’s family to depart before him, and a change in the regulations for pet trave to Australia including 30 days quarantine. Yes you will no doubt worry about your pet making such a journey but this is the perfect example of throughout your pets journey across the planet you pet us in the best of hands, starting with us. Our thanks to Silva’s family for allowing us to take care of Silva’s journey.

Well it’s 09:30 on Wednesday morning and I just got back from London Heathrow after leaving home last night at 10:30 to collect Maxx from Harrogate and then drive down to Heathrow to check him in with American Airlines as he is flying back home to Philadelphia USA.
Before I checked him in we went for a walk and a pre flight p*e. Maxx that is, not me.
I’m having a cup of tea before I get my head down for a couple or three hours.
I’m shattered 😊

I think in a recent post I mentioned that we lost our Labrador, Dylan after 14 amazing years last September. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it as we still miss him. However we have had time to reflect and decide if we wanted another pet. We both knew that we did and then we had to decide whether to get another puppy or go down the route of a rescue dog and we thought that they were the only options. And then we found Lana ! I’m not going to bore you with how we got her as we would need to sit down in a pub whilst we explained how we came by this wonderful dog. I’ll just show you some photos of the last 4 days since she joined the family. She is 3 years old and we have some bonding to do but we are delighted so far with her response. Fab in the vehicle good on the lead ( not let her off yet but she does have very good recall )
Fantastic nature and everything that you would expect from a gorgeous Golden Retriever. We are proud parents again 😃

Back in 2021 we sent Athena and Zeus the Ragdoll and Maine C**n cats to Canada and now we welcome them home again but this time home is in Yorkshire and not the delightful Lancashire where they used to live 😉
Anyway our thanks to Mum and dad Elly and Matt for letting us take care of their return journey.

Meet Leo and Luna.

Many people ask “what are pets like and how are they after flying”……. Well,
you wouldn’t think that they just traveled from Jakarta Indonesia via Doha then into Manchester with Qatar Airways and arrived yesterday. Seem like pretty chilled out puddies. 😊 thanks to mum Lauren for her hard work in getting the kids ready to make the journey.

From Blackpool to the dizzy heights of Seattle, North America in just a day. This is Ollie out on a last p*e stop just before London Heathrow. You’ll notice he has two leads on. We don’t take any chances of dogs doing a runner just before flight 😂 and that’s a picture of Katelyn Olloi’s mum waiting for him in Seattle and collecting him from American Airlines.

This little guy is Silva and we have been working with him and his family to get him out to Australia during a time when the Australian authorities were changing the rules for pet travel so it too a little longer to get him out to Australia than usual and he is now in Melbourne safe and sound and spending some time in quarantine before being reunited with his family. Can’t wait for that video 😂

Last minute job from the USA to deliver Louis and Leah, two Golden Retrievers who needed collecting from Manchester Cargo after arriving from Los Angeles via Frankfurt. So off we went to the Wirral to drop them off and drop in on our friends for a cup of coffee

As you can see with Baby here we make sure that all or dogs, especially the big dogs have plenty of room to sit, lie down and turn around in comfort during their journey, even on the forklift at Manchester Cargo 😆

A Couple of months ago we were working on getting Bella out to Dubai. Her mum dropped her at our home on a Sunday afternoon so we could do a quick photo shoot of her in the proposed travel kennel as the airline like to see that we are meeting their transport requests such as extra mesh on the door. (Photos attached)
Anyway, fast forward to this morning and Bella is ready to follow mum who left on the earlier flight today back to Dubai.
This cat is so funny as she doesn’t meow she talks gibberish like a baby. Funny and strange at the same time.

So this gorgeous little girl is on her way to Seattle to follow her mum who left the U.K. a couple of days before her.
Joey the cutie in the photos was picked up by me from the Wirral in the small hours of yesterday and we drove down to London Heathrow and I checked her in to fly BA to Seattle.
This pup was so calm and relaxed and took everything and everyone in her stride. It was a joy to work with her and her mum Jen, not forgetting Joey’s granny who had a little cry as she was handing Joey over to me in the dark.
Joey departed a little late but arrived safe and sound in Seattle where her anxious parents were waiting. Big reunion and Joey’s fist glimpse of Snow !!!
Anyway you can see from the photos she wasn’t phased and she snuggled right down on the couch next to mum.

This is Logan, a gorgeous English Shepherd that we brought in to the U.K. some time ago from the USA as a puppy. She is temporarily moving back to the U.S. with mum (or Mom) and this is her yesterday at London Heathrow. And the photos where she is wearing her harness is here with her mom in Orlando. ❤️❤️❤️super dog and looking forward to seeing her again when she comes back

This is Willow, and we have been working with her mum and dad to fly her out to San Diego to join them and she did just that today as I picked her and her travel kennel from where she was staying in Manchester at 5 am this morning and we drove down to Heathrow and put her on a BA flight to San Diego. As always when I take pets to Heathrow we had a short walk before check in and let them do their business. She is a top dog and very calm. More photos on the way

3:30pm ish Hong Kong (08:30 U.K. time ) and here is Ivan coming off the BA flight. He looks almost in the same position as I last saw him at Heathrow yesterday 😊
He is chilled as always and is fit and well.
Nice one Ivan, always a pleasure.

Collecting Ben today and he was raring to be on his way to Dubai.

Been a busy week or so and I’m playing catch up with our FB account. This is The gorgeous Jessie who is such a cutie and typically amazing golden Labrador. We flew her out to Budapest on BA from Heathrow and as always we had a little toilet walk at the BA cargo terminal before I checked her in at 3am ish.

Karen on duty today although I was on camera and there to get the coffee and hot chocolate at the airport. We or should I say she checked Nunu and Lucy in on Emirates flight EK 18 and the cats departed for Dubai 4 hours later and the fur babies are on their way to a new life with dad going out 2 days before them. Hopefully some Dubai photos to share tomorrow 😊

You May remember about 13 days ago we flew Maxy the Cocker Spaniel to Melbourne Australia. Well, 10 days after arriving Maxy was released from quarantine today and collected by our good friends at Dogtainers Melbourne who collected Maxy and put him on a flight to Perth in Western Australia and he has just arrived and as you can see he absolutely fine after a journey which started when I picked him up from Glasgow and brought him to Manchester where he boarded with us for a week flew to Australia with a half day stop and rest break in Singapore and on to Melbourne and now home to Perth. This is why we do what we do 😄

Only been home 10 minutes and little Seren is running with the big boys 😊

So this is the moment that Seren met mum for the very first time at the Animal Reception Centre at London Heathrow.

This little guy just made my day. Calm, gentle, well balanced, gorgeous cutie Called Buddy and he is going to the USA with his family. We went up to to the Yorkshire Dales to Skipton to meet him and take his travel kennel for him to get acclimated while he waits to fly in a week or so. I’m sure there will be more photos of Buddy in the near future.

This gorgeous girl is getting used to her travel kennel for when she visits the USA. By the time we left yesterday she was sitting in her kennel without the encouraging doggy treat. 🇬🇧🐾✈️🇺🇸
