We're delighted to introduce two of our latest, experienced and reliable feline stars, Stripey and Fitzwilliam, who recently worked with WHISKAS® on a campaign in May.

From the moment they arrived on set, both cats were an absolute pleasure to work with. Calm, confident and happy in a busy production environment, they performed brilliantly and were a credit to their owners and handlers.

Keeping our animal stars cool, calm and collected.

The recent warm weather across the UK has been a reminder of just how important animal welfare is when working on location.

Whether we're filming indoors or outside, every production is carefully planned with the wellbeing of our animal stars in mind. From providing plenty of fresh water and shade to allowing regular rest breaks and adjusting schedules where needed, we always put their comfort first.

A relaxed animal is not only happier but also performs at their best, which is why welfare is at the heart of everything we do.

Whatever the season, our experienced handlers work closely with production teams to ensure every animal is cared for throughout the day, so they can remain cool, calm and collected on set.

We hope you're all enjoying the summer. If you're spending time outdoors with your own pets, please remember to keep them cool, well hydrated and avoid exercising them during the hottest parts of the day.

Our latest registration window is now open and will remain open until Sunday 12th July 2026, giving owners the opportunity to register their pets for consideration for future TV, film, theatre, commercial and photographic work.

We're always on the lookout for animals with great temperaments and unique personalities. From dogs, cats and horses to rabbits, birds, reptiles and more, we work with a wide range of animal talent across the UK.

Many of our animal stars have gone on to feature in productions for major brands, television programmes, films and theatre productions. However, animal care is always our top priority.

Every production is carefully assessed, and we only put animals forward for roles that are suitable for them, ensuring their welfare, comfort and wellbeing come first at all times.

It was World Turtle Day over the weekend. A great moment to appreciate these fascinating animals, and to shine a light on how reptiles can be safely and responsibly included in film, TV and commercial productions.

We provide a wide range of reptile and small animal models, including tortoises, turtles, bearded dragons and more.

Coco the kitten on a shoot today.

I am pleased to tell you that Pets at Home are one of the companies who take welfare of animals seriously.

The past few weeks they have hired models who were chaperoned not only by their owners, They were also monitored by our animal welfare team. The team assisted in obtaining the required results as they are also qualified trainer’s.
