What else could pet insurance cover?

Many owners think that taking out pet insurance is just about covering the cost of veterinary care. While that is
important, a good policy will also cover you for some of the other unexpected costs of being a pet owner.

Remember not all pet insurance is the same so it is a good idea to check the cover provided and ask if you will
be paying more for claiming.

📌
One Health
From July 2023 to June 2024, we have:

• Eliminated the use of Nitrous Oxide in practices from July 2023.
📌

Our forward plan is to reduce this elements even further!

At Beech House we work towards sustainability goals by;

🟢Buying responsibly from dedicated suppliers.
🟢Segregating and recycling waste responsibly with our waste management providers.
🟢Accepting used or out of date medications to ensure responsible disposal and recycling as well as ensuring we are caring for our environment.
🟢Introduction of a new soft plastic and blister pack recycling bin in house.
🟢We have reduced the number of orders we make to our suppliers to condense the number of deliveries and packages we receive.

⭐We are proud of our achievements and will continue to work in line with our goals.

A lovely break in our afternoon yesterday to help Vet, Bianca, health check and vaccinate a litter of labradors we helped mum deliver at the end of last year.

You can see pups were completely unphased by a visit to the vets 💜

Lovely to see them growing up and we’ll continue to do so as they are being kept at home as part of the family 🌟

Even better, each of them are now part of our Healthy Pet Club receiving huge discounts on preventative health care.

As the dark nights draw in and we wind down towards a well-earned break, we often look forward to a break in routine to let us reset.

The same can’t be said for our pets, however, and often the things we enjoy most about the festive period can cause stress and worry for our furry family members.

Imagine you are deaf. You can’t hear your alarm clock. You can’t hear your text messages. You miss out on social interactions.

That’s what life is like for deaf people, and it can be very isolating.

A hearing dog can make a big difference. You can help our charity of the year – Hearing Dogs for Deaf
People – help a deaf person leave loneliness behind, by adding a donation via Pennies when you pay by card. Just a small donation can help deaf people escape isolation and reconnect with life.

Thank you.

Over-indulgence is commonplace over the holidays, and whilewe can decide whether we really need a bit more cake, our pets will often accept whatever’s on offer.

However, some foods we have around at Christmas pose significantly more danger than an upset stomach; so it’s important to keep them out of paws reach!
