Hey everyone! Bet you're shocked to see me be posting on here. I'm looking on getting started making Tarantula Nest a more educational page for people starting out in the hobby.

Good morning everyone!

The website is live, still being updated In the background with more stuff being added including enclosures, substrates, livefood and so on hopefully tonight!

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to announce that the website will be back open tomorrow for purchases. We know things have been a little rocky recently, but we want you to know that we are working hard to get everything back up and running.

We are going through our stock and updating the website, which we expect will be ready by Thursday night or Friday morning. In addition, we will have plastic enclosures available in various sizes on the website in limited quantities alongside substrates and decorations. (soon to include livestock food such as locusts, mario worms, dubias, mealworms and more!)

Treat yourself… it’s Christmas! 🤣

Plenty of stock on our website, won’t be posting until Royal Mail know what they’re doing and when weather picks up.

However, if you’re local to our base in Mansfield you’re welcome to come and visit us at our spider room to come and check them out, purchase/collect.

What a fun day at the Midlands Entomological Show!

We met so many lovely people, and got to know them. Those who bought from us, thank you, it was a pleasure, and even those who just said hello, it made us happy to meet you.

We'd like to thank Krzysztof from Tarantula Room Limited for the very detailed details about keeping the Birupes Simoroxigorum which we picked up today from Creatures FromThe North alongside others goodies!

We'll be much more prepared for the next show and have much more to bring compared to this show!. We hope everyone had fun who went and got something they wanted

Hello everyone!

Just a update for everyone. We’re going to our first show at the midlands entomological fayer on December 4th!
Doors open to the public at 11am - 3:30pm so plenty of time to check everyone out

If you’d like anything reserved for collection please let us know via Facebook messenger and place a deposit and we’d be happy to keep it aside

We look forward to seeing everyone, including other traders and hopefully get some good conversations going!

Hey, Tarantula Nest Fam!

We've got some news—and we're sorry to say that it's not good.

We've had to stop using PayPal as a payment option. There are just too many issues with it. Buyers are making wrongful claims about items never arriving when tracking shows that they were delivered at the address on file, funds are being held for 21+ days for no reason other than "we're PayPal," and setting up another business account with the correct information that PayPal refuses to accept. It's just not worth the headache anymore.

If you purchased something using PayPal, we've emailed you and told you that you can have a full refund and either purchase the items again or choose not to. We hope this doesn't impact your shopping experience too much—please let us know if there's anything we can do to make this right!
