It's a grey drizzly Monday morning π΄ Can you cheer us up with some pictures of your happy pets in the sunshine?
It's the end of the summer but we are still seeing some pets who are suffering from itchy skin.
This can be due to rise in fungal spores and leaf molds that occur at this time of year and also due to harvest mites.
If your pet has any issues with over-grooming, chewing, rubbing, bald and sore spots then please let us know and we can see what can be offered to help with the situation.
Tarn was a lovely lady and hope she feels better soon π
Castration is such an important part of maintaining population numbers and also reduces down the risk of male cats wandering, getting lost, being runover and also reduces the risk of sensually transmitted diseases such as FIV and FeLV which can be life threatening and debilitating diseases.

Little puppy Nelly had a bit if a misadventure when she decided to chow down on some stones!
She presented as a healthy happy puppy for her 2nd vaccinations but Vet Sabrina noticed an abnormality when palpating her abdomen. Her tummy was CRUNCHY!! It felt like a bag of marbles in there which indicated that she had eaten something that she shouldn't have!!! Risks were discussed regarding surgery vs attempting to make her vomit the stones up and it was felt that trying medical management was the best option.
After 40mins of feeling very sorry for herself most of the stones had been brought up!!! Nelly was sent home with clear instructions on what to do if any stones caused a blockage. At her recheck today a few more pebbles have made their way through and out the other side π© but she is feeling super bright and happy so we will continue to monitor closely.
Rupesh popped in to check over a lump on his lip. Thankfully, it was already resolving, so no treatment was needed.
But he did gets lots of cuddles instead
