Jasper came into our care recently as his owner was sadly no longer in a position to look after him. We noticed that Jasper was drinking quite a lot of water, so we scheduled in some blood tests and other medical checks. It's now been confirmed that Jasper has diabetes and he will need to be on a special diet to ensure that he stays happy and healthy.

Jasper originally required insulin, but we have worked hard to wean him off this and now he will be fine as long as he sticks to his diet. This means he is now ready to find his new home! 🐱

He is an incredibly loving cat who loves nothing more than fuss, attention and a lap to curl up on. He has been such a sweetheart throughout his entire stay, being no problem to inject with his insulin, and now he deserves his happy ending. He'd be looking for a home as the only pet and we think he'd be happier in a home with no children.

Nova is ready for a new home and a bit of 'her' time after having several litters of kittens when she was a stray. Nova can be a little shy at first but once she's got to know you can be very affectionate and loves a lap to curl up on. We feel due to this, Nova could live with older children in her new home if given the time to settle in.

Thank you to everyone who came down to our Christmas Tea event today! Thanks to you, we raised an amazing £912.84, all of which will be used to help cats and kittens!

A massive thank you to all the great clients of Epona tattoo studio in Southwell who kindly raised £540 to the centre by donating the cost of their inkings! The team at the tattoo studio enjoyed a visit to the centre to drop in the donation.

Amy is a beautiful, young cat who came into our care and had 6 (yes SIX) kittens but is now looking for some ‘her’ time. Amy is very friendly and confident so we feel she could live with a family.

It’s National Black Cat Day, a day we started back in 2011 to celebrate black cats and reduce the time they spent in our care before being adopted. They are now not as overlooked as they once were, but black and black and white cats, like the lovely Meg, do still wait on average three days longer to be adopted than cats of other colours.

Doris is a very affectionate cat looking for an indoor only home as she is FIV+. She loves nothing more than a lap to climb onto and giving you a firm headbutt to say hello, often pawing at you to carry on stroking her head.
