Lola
This is the lovely Lola. She has been at the centre for some months now, and we think she deserves a second chance in a new home! She has been struggling with busy centre life and spends most of her time hiding in her bed, making it hard for her to find a home.
Our staff have been slowly gaining her trust with a structured desensitisation program and she’s now showing off her new headbutting and kneading skills with a bit of encouragement.
Lola is an independent, older lady. Who would like a quiet, pet free home, with safe outdoor access. But most of all, she needs someone to give her the love and patience to come round in her own time.

Who will be crowned the winner and receive all of the Easter goodies?
Flora was found abandoned at a McDonald's drive through, but after a little time with us at the centre, she's found her new home with her new family, including her best friend Missy! This pair are now inseparable and it's so amazing to see such a loving bond between them. It's safe to say Flora landed on her paws in her furever home!
National memorial day
There are few things harder than having to say goodbye to a deeply loved cat. They become loved family members, and whether their passing is expected or sudden, it can leave a gaping whole in your heart.

Zimba is enjoying his Easter present this afternoon! We’d love to see some of your feline friends playing in the sunshine!
Zimba is loving his Wednesday afternoon cuddles! This lovely little man has unfortunately recently had to have an operation on his eyes to correct his entropion, a condition where where the eyelids roll in on the eye, forcing the eyelashes to touch the surface of the eye. Although this condition can be very painful, Zimba has always been a fussy and lovely cat.
Unfortunately, as he has developed this condition so early on in his life, he may need to have another operation as he gets older. We don’t think this should stop Zimba getting a loving home, which could be with a family as he is very confident and cuddly!
We’re celebrating today at the centre as, after 76 days, our vet has finally signed our longest stayer, the beautiful Phoebe, as fit for homing! This very special cat is looking for a very special home, as she has a condition where she cannot produce her own tears, meaning she’ll have to be on eye drops for life.

Mothers day
Throughout the year we help give kittens the best start to their lives. This might be by helping mum and ensuring she is safe and warm so she can care for her babies herself, or occasionally our wonderful team have to step up to be mum and hand rear the kittens.
So today we will celebrate mums, cat mums, foster mums and surrogate mums everywhere. Thank you for all of your hard work, the sleepless nights and all of the love. 😻

Cats 23
Here are just some of the many cats that we have helped recently here at Mansfield Adoption Centre.
We do our best to ensure that all of the cats that come in to our care, go on to live their best lives in their forever homes.
It wouldn't be possible to do this without the incredible generosity of people like you, supporting fundraising events like our Easter Raffle.

We're sharing the sisterly love this Valentine's Day with Flora and her larger sibling Missy! Flora was originally found by a member of the public at a McDonald's drive thru and we knew nothing of her previous life, however it's safe to say she's settled in with her new sister and is loving her new life with her new family!
Little Domino has been with us for over 3 months now and, after a shaky start where she spent a lot of time hiding, she's finally starting to show us the sweet little cat she really is! This lovely lady would need a quiet home where we feel she could really thrive and show her true self to the lucky person who has her.

For our final day of our senior week, a two for one special with the very handsome Carlos and Riley!
Both these boys are very sweet, gentle cats who love a fuss and cuddle. Carlos is the slightly less confident of the pair, with his brother normally stealing the spotlight, however once he comes out of his shell he is a very loving boy as you can see here! These two are looking for a retirement home together as they are very bonded, often sleeping holding each other’s paws!
Poppet by name, Poppet by nature! Poppet is a very fussy and cuddly cat who loves a head rub but can be a little frightened of loud noises. She would be best suited to a quieter home where she can really blossom and show her true self.
❗️UPDATE ❗️- Monty now has a viewing booked!
We’re looking for a very special home for a very special cat! Monty came into the centre with a bit of a flea problem, meaning he’s had to have regular baths to help with the skin irritation this has left, which as you can see (and hear) he seems to enjoy!
We’re looking for a quiet, stress free home with someone who has lots of time for cuddles as Monty is a very fussy boy! If you think you could be the home for him, please contact the centre on 01623 845846!
