Feeling brave? Take on our abseil challenge this September and raise money for cats and kittens throughout Mansfield and Nottinghamshire!

On Sunday 28th September we're heading over to Millers Dale near Buxton, to take the 75 foot plunge off of the Millers Dale Bridge. Participants are setting themselves a sponsorship target to encourage them to take this on. Registration is just £20 and we ask that you aim for at least £50 in sponsorship. All of the funds raised will come to our Centre, so it's a fantastic opportunity to support us and make yourself proud ♥️

We have ONE space available for a pet food stand at our Mini Food & Drink Festival on Sunday 27th July at the Centre. Just £10 to attend for the full day and sell your products at this public event.

Please be aware that you will be located inside reception with a maximum of two 6ft tables. No parking will be available onsite, only drop off and pick up of products and supplies.

Loki is looking for a new home with a little less mischief and a little more laying on the sofa! This handsome boy came into our care as he wasn't getting on with the children previously so would prefer a quieter, adult only home. Despite this, Loki is very fussy and affectionate when allowed to come out at his own pace.

It’s Mature Moggies Day! Whether they’re snoozing in sunbeams or ruling the sofa, we know that mature moggies make amazing companions… yet cats aged 11 or older still take three times longer to rehome than kittens. Our annual celebration of senior cats looks to make this a thing of the past!

We’d love to see some of your golden oldies, so please show us in the comments!

Do you sell savoury foods and have your own gazebo?

If the answer is yes, apply for a stall at our Mini Food & Drink Fest. Sunday 27th July, open to the public from 10am to 4pm. Stall holders arrive between 8am and 10am to set up. Only £20 for the pitch fee 😸

We are NO longer accepting suppliers for cakes, cupcakes or brownies 😊

We still have room for any of the below:

* Pies and quiches
* Crisps and snacks
* Breads and pastries
* Sweets and chocolates
* World foods

No power or water available. A 3m x 3m pitch available and you must supply your own tables and gazebo.

Today is our Volunteer Coffee Morning where we celebrate our amazing volunteers and the work they do to help us take care of the cats and kittens in our care!

It may not be Mature Moggies Day until 16th June, but we want big, beautiful Blaze to get a home to spend his golden years in way before that! He may have hidden away at first, but he’s showing more of his true self now, loving a fuss on his terms and being groomed. Blaze does have a grade 2 heart murmur, but we’re hoping this won’t put anyone off this handsome cat! If you think you could be the one for him, please contact the centre on 01623 845846.

We are NO longer accepting applications for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, sweet baked goods etc. as these pitches are now full 😊

We have spaces for the following;

* Savoury bakes, pies, rolls, quiches etc.
* Sandwiches, wraps, cobs, baguettes etc.
* Jams, marmalades, sauces, chutneys etc.
* Sweets and chocolates
* World foods such as samosas, onion bhajis, spring rolls, noodles etc..
* Crisps and savoury snacks

We are offering a 3m x 3m pitch for just £20. All suppliers need to provide their own gazebo and no power or water are available.

On 21st June, take on a fundraising challenge from dawn to dusk (or whatever you can manage!) to support our longest-stay feline friends! 😸☀️

This summer solstice, we are asking you to bounce, cycle, stream, read, walk (or whatever your passion!) in a dawn to dusk fundraising challenge to help support cats who have spent far too long waiting for a home. As a thank you, anyone who raises over £100 will receive an exclusive Cats Protection ‘longest day’ sleep eye mask!
