It’s not often I work a Sunday but these two lovely girls have been coming to me for years and understandably sometimes a normal weekday doesn’t fit in with our clients working lives so I was more than happy to give Ruby & Toffee a good spruce up ready for their holidays. Of course they were little superstars as ever ❤️

I always try my best to work around people including evening and weekend appointments to keep pooches well groomed and happy so please enquire if your struggling to make weekday appointments 🐾

Beautiful little Lottie came to visit us for her first ever big girl groom. She started off quite nervous but was quickly won over by lots of fuss and stood like a superstar for a bath, blow dry and tidy up. Well done Lottie 🌟

Another visit from the wonderful Mr Ted. Teds mum prefers him to have quite a short cut as he loves nothing more than running through all the puddles on his walks 🐾 🐾 he was a pleasure to have as usual and look forward to seeing him again for his next spa day !

You’d be very much forgiven to think we have been shearing sheep this morning at shear pawfection 🐑 which I think would be a great load of fun however I’d like to take a moment to talk to you about the wonderful coat of the poo’s and doodles.

Anyone who owns a poo or doodle will know that under that loving personality and cute woolly fluff that they’re notoriously hard to keep silky and knot free. Sometimes you can blink through the day and matting can occur with these gorgeous little dogs. As a groomer we work really hard working through these coats keeping them long and flowing but there’s does come a time when we’re unable to save the coat.

Ethically it would be impractical to try and pull out heavy matting and pretty painful for our furry friends and we’d hate to cause unnecessary discomfort just as much as we hate having to disappoint our owners with a shaven doodle. Sometimes the coat can seem brushed through on the outside however underneath near the skin there can be a layer of matting that comes off just like a sheep’s wool, this can harbour lots of bacteria and nasties close to the skin and can eventually lead to unwanted skin problems and discomfort for our doodles.

Believe me we know it’s a hard task with working life but If in doubt please speak to your groomer about how at home we’re able to prevent heaving matting and keep our doodles knot free and happy. Sometimes bringing them in to a salon a couple of weeks early for a good brush through and condition can make all the different to keeping coats healthy and not needed to be shaven off.

This gorgeous boy is a shear pawfection veteran having been visiting us for 5 years. He was a little tangled in places but with our special knot busting bubbles and deep coat conditioner we’ve managed to get his coat all glossy and knot free. Jake’s mum prefers him to have a long beard and top knot which I think suits him well 🥰 what a good boy.

Due to the increase of materials and overheads I’m writing to inform you of a slight but necessary price increase for some services starting 14th of February 2022.

The reasons I must increase are:
