Truthwall Mill Kennels and Cattery Kennels and cattery in West Cornwall. We are 10 mins from Penzance and 10 mins from Hayle. All dogs and cats holidaying with us receive great care and affection.

Well, we're definitely in the rainy season now aren't we. Although at least it's just a bit of mild drizzle for tonight's shift, nothing too bad.

With the darker, colder, wetter weather upon us though, if you are booked in and happen to have a rain jacket for your dog, please do bring it with you. It would be a great help.

We do have spares, as you can see, all hanging up ready for an outing. But your own is usually a better fit!

She's also got the cutest paws like they've just been dipped in a paint pot.

All the pens have got cosy cushions, hideaway places, soft bedding - and now it's colder, we've popped the heat pads in, so they can pop themselves on one of them and fall asleep, toasty warm.

It's his last day today, and we're going to miss him. He's been a lot of fun and done brilliantly.

We've been fairly successful at trying to catch some sun in between the showers today.

And for a change of scene, we headed off for a wander along some of the local farm lanes and nearby tracks. Good sniffs were had by all!

If anyone is coming to us from Marazion or St Erth direction along Gwallon Lane, you'll see a couple of road closed signs, just for the next week.

There is work going on, but we stopped and spoke to a couple of the guys on the job, and they've said residents, businesses and customers can all still drive through. 👍🏼

These two made us laugh so much today 😆😆😆
Alfie is a 6 month old Dalmatian.
Maj is a 3 year old labradoodle, as fast as a racehorse, and whom we can never normally find a dog fast enough to keep up with her.
But today Alfie met Maj's challenge of an equally energetic play buddy.
Hurrah!

This boy has been a total gentleman.
Tigger is an old boy of 17 and there's just something special about our older guests.
Each day he would come out of his snuggle den in one of our climbing towers, to greet us and offer us a little lick.
Such a good boy Tigger, you melted our hearts. 💛

Already wishing the daylight hours were a little longer!

Half an hour later, Marley is back to what he does best - watching the birds. 🐦🦉🐦‍⬛
