True story time 🐾

Scrolling through a post about classic British products and what do I spot? A Mason Pearson hairbrush… worth £200 new 😳 a handmade British classic, crafted since 1885. Now I suppose the most I’ve spent on a brush for myself would be a tenner and sixty on a dog grooming brush.

Cue flashback to me remembering: “That’s a ridiculous price for a brush”“Wait, don’t I have one of those?!”

Sure enough, found it buried in a box most likely passed down from grandma to mum to me 💁‍♀️ Had no idea it was fancy – just thought, “Wow, this is SO soft, perfect for my sensitive pup’s floofy ears!” 🐶✨

Fast forward: it now has character (read: puppy teeth marks) on the handle 😅
Might clean it up and use it myself… or add it to the VIP puppy package 👑🐕

Moral of the story: never underestimate the lengths I go to make the experience therapeutic 😂

Box Of Frogs

This is still one of my most favourite videos. Those who’ve followed me for a while will remember Percy who as a puppy was the most bouncy dog I know.

Sadly Percy has had to have an operation on his elbows and has for a few weeks keep all four paws on the ground. We wish him a speedy recovery and I guess he will be a bionic frog and back to his old ways in no time.

Archie: A Golden Heart 💛

Meet Archie, a regular at Forest Tail's, where he gets his thick coat tamed. This determined little guy and knows his own mind —when he doesn't want something, he plonks his bottom down and won't budge!

Archie's owner is currently under the weather and needs plenty of tlc to get her through, and Archie is using all his "no budging" powers to stay loyally by her side, providing comfort and strength. His unwavering companionship proves that true friendship knows no bounds.

Meet Winnie, a sweet but fearful cockerpoo, and her incredible support worker, Freddie the Basset Hound. 🐶💕

Winnie visits the groomer every 6-8 weeks to keep her curly locks looking fabulous. She has magnificently long eyelashes that she uses to her advantage…..

Her anxiety is evident, so we now ask Freddie her partner in crime to be by her side throughout. With Freddie being present, she finds the courage to face the grooming sessions.

🐾Freddie's calm and reassuring presence is a true blessing for Winnie. His gentle nature helps soothe her nerves, making each visit a little easier. Their bond is a beautiful example of how friendship and support can make a world of difference. 🌟

Flo, our little spicy dynamo, has always had a flair for the dramatic when it comes to pamper sessions. 🐾 Tantrums? Oh, she's thrown some Oscar-worthy performances!

But hats off to her amazing guardians who have been working tirelessly at home to desensitise her demons and turn those tantrums into tail wags.💜

Ellie is our first pup on the books with this name, and it sent me on a mythical adventure!
