These gorgeous Labrador puppies came in for health checks plus their first vaccinations. They were a pleasure to have at the practice. ❤️

Meet Damon- this poor little sweetheart accidentally digested rat poison. We are hopeful with his recovery.

“Betty the bulldog”- accidently digested human pain killers. Bettys owner acted promptly and bought her in to the practice.
After numerous blood tests, close observation, hospitalisation and medication- Betty is stable and hopefully will be going home tomorrow.

Poisoning can be fatal in animals, and it is much more common than expected. Many incidents are accidental but receiving immediate medical attention can make a huge difference.

We continue to wish Betty a speedy recovery and glad she will be home soon as her family have been missing her immensely ❤️
