🤩🎄🎁🐴 our Stunning Stallions Eclipse CES absolutely loves the snow! Even though he prefers the sun, makes him feel like home 🌞

🇪🇸🇬🇧 2025 has been a remarkable year for GB PRE 🇬🇧🇪🇸
Our organisation continues to flourish, alongside the ongoing growth and development of our annual championship breed show at Hartpury. Now firmly established as a multi-discipline event, it brings together a wide range of classes celebrating the PRE breed and Iberian horses across sport, breeding and performance.
This year, we were honoured to welcome a special visit from the President of ANCCE, José Juan Morales, together with Ro Olivares, Director of Competitions — a memorable moment for GB PRE.
Earlier in the year, GB PRE also hosted a Body Condition Scoring Assessors Day, delivered in conjunction with The Horse Trust’s Healthiest Body Condition Awards and The University of Liverpool. We are delighted to share that this resulted in 12 new Body Condition Scoring Assessors being approved as judges — a fantastic achievement for education and welfare within our community.
In November, the MCI GB team returned from the European Championships with a Team Silver Medal — an outstanding accomplishment and something we can all be immensely proud of.
Later in the month at SICAB · Salón Internacional del Caballo PRE, GB PRE once again had the opportunity to present our event alongside other international competition organisers. We were also proud to see two UK breeders represented:
🐴 Yeguada Lago, whose mare Laudel Diosa qualified and competed in the 5 & 6-year-old Morphology section, and
🐴 Yeguada Laudel, whose stallion Habano GR, ridden by Kirsten Mayne, qualified and competed in the COPA ANCCE Dressage 7-year-old class.
Congratulations to everyone on their achievements with their horses throughout 2025 — your dedication, passion and success continue to drive GB PRE forward.
As we head into the festive season, we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and our very best wishes for 2026, which will be a particularly special year as we celebrate GB PRE’s 10th Anniversary. 🎉🎄

In memory of James Roberts-

Joshua the owner of Eclipse Stud was lucky enough to be a student of James working his way up to being his barn manager. Josh Learnt a large amount from James, one of the world's top horsemen, and all his training has helped Josh with many stallions, mares, foals, and young horses.
