Good girl Bonita 😍 happy to say she has been selected to represent the AES Benelux at the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses Stoodbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy show at Longines Tops International Arena at the end of September. Lovely to think she will follow in her sisters footsteps who was selected last year with us as a 5YO.

Here at Aartom horses we have limited availability to welcome new horses, owners and liveries into our stables. Short or long term packages available to suit.

We benefit from a super base on the edge of Leicestershire with hundreds of acres of rolling countryside with set aside and hunt jumps all round. A large all weather arena with full set of showjumps large Dutch horse Walker with room to turn round. This takes up the same space a monarch 8 horse takes. Treadmill with flat walking and incline. Large lunge/lose jump pen. Large monarch internal stables. Shared and individual turn out paddocks. Great road hacking and lovely scenery across Gumley Park. Wash boxes with hot water and solariums. So much more on offer.

Here at Aartom Horses we have produced many horses from just broken up to Grand Prix level and competed both nationally and internationally. Our training is a very relaxed environment with confidence and improvement at the forefront of our methods. As well as one of lessons we also offer packages if booked and payed for in full incurs discount. Residential training is also an option for anyone needing to travel or in need of a little more intensive training.

We also offer a riding service. If you are struggling with your horse and need another some advice. We can ride your horse and provide a work regime to suit each individual horse’s needs.

We just had to share these amazing pictures of one of our pupils .freyabarry making us so proud holding her own with her amazing horse Soldier in the 6yo’s at Hickstead. Getting through to the final at 1.35m for just one unlucky fence amongst some of the most experienced riders in the country. We’re so unbelievably proud and bursting with pride!

The plan was Hickstead. Gutted to miss it but so happy with this 5yo AES mare by Galerius out of a class VDL mare having a jump at home. She’s a serious tool 🔨

Long lining is a vital part of our training programme here at not just for the young horses but the older horses too. The benefits are endless. This horse in particular really favours the right rein and finds it difficult to go straight and keep her balance so this has really helped strengthen her up and encourage her to stay level into the bridle too. For anyone wanting help or guidance with any of the above issues this is something we can help with here at Team Aartom

We will be having a few weeks break from stay away shows over the next few weeks. This is because we are getting to work with the young ones and we also have a few horses for sale which we will be doing adverts for shortly so keep your eyes peeled to avoid disappointment.

Here’s a few pictures of our girls doing us proud with their fantastic horses at Bolesworth. All the horses stepping up and both Charlie Nelson and Freya Barry both gaining experience round the biggest tracks they have jumped to date in the U25 Grand Prix. This is what makes it worth it! To help people succeed is so important. If you believe you can do it you will!!!!
