🚨 Important Update for All Clients 🚨 EDIT: Please check your junk/spam folder too!

Hi everyone! I’ve got some important updates that I’d like to share, so please take a moment to read through. 😊

To make things more streamlined and eco-friendly, I’ll be moving away from hard copy forms and transitioning to digital forms. Please keep an eye on your emails for new forms and let me know if you need any help with this transition!

A few key changes:

1. Cancellation Policy: Going forward, I’ll need 48 hours notice for any cancellations, instead of the previous 24 hours.

2. Payment Update: Starting 1st January 2025, all payments will need to be made in advance.
• If you currently pay weekly, payments will need to be made on Sunday before the week begins. If payment is not made then no walkies 😢🐾
• For those on monthly payments, we can work out a date that suits you best.

This will save me time from sending out reminders. You are all amazing🤩🤩 but when it comes to admin I try to do as little as possible🤣

3. Switching Payment Plans: If you’re currently paying weekly but would prefer to switch to a monthly plan, just let me know and I can sort that out for you.

If you have any questions or need assistance with anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. 🐾

Fun walk this morning with Wellness Dog Walks, Dawn, Rosie, Gillian & Marley 🐶❤️ We also bumped into some doggies of mine that I used to walk. I was SO happy to see them🩷 Ruby, Noodles, Zak & now Pip too🥰 Wholesome walk & great company ☺️

I’m so sorry to those who I have cancelled with today!! The vet suspects Richmond has pancreatits which is apparently very painful😢 poor little soul. He’s to go on a low fat diet so it doesn’t flare up again and his pancreas can recover.

Tomorrow will be business as usual as Sean’s off work and can look after him❤️‍🩹 Although we are expecting some snow!!❄️❄️❄️ hopefully not too much🤞

Today we had a birthday pawty for Fudge the Jug🥳 he’s turned 12!!🥰 and he still acts like a puppy at times 😍 all his friends from ATT dog walking wish him a Happy Birthday🩷

I am very lucky I get to spend time with these amazing pups. Dogs are with us for a part of our life, but we are their whole life. This is why we need to cherish every moment with them❤️

Now taking bookings for dog photography 🤣🤣 I love this new camera!! The quality is great😍 Lovely walk with Wellness Dog Walks this morning followed by my midday group 🐾 I’ve also had a few comments about my hair today and that it looks nice… it’s because I’ve washed and brushed it for once🤪

Some new faces 😍 meet Woody & Wilson🥰 over the past year I haven’t taken on any new dogs as I’ve been so busy! However, If someone is struggling for dog care I do try my best to offer my services. I have no regular weekly spaces but if I get cancellations or I’m able to help on an adhoc basis then I will try🩷 13 dogs all happy… now time for a coffee ☕️

Behaviour changes due to the fireworks… PLEASE READ

It’s that time of year again and we have recently had some fireworks in the area. I’ve noticed a few changes in some of the dogs I walk. Fireworks can be incredibly stressful for dogs—especially when the loud noises and bright lights catch them off guard.

I’m seeing some dogs acting more anxious than usual, hesitating to leave the house, barking or whining during our walks, or even trying to hide or pull away from certain areas. These are common signs of fear or stress caused by fireworks, and the effects can last for days after the event.

As a dog walker, I spend a lot of time with the dogs I care for, and I always keep a close eye on their behaviour during our walks. Sometimes, I’m the first to notice when something’s a little off—whether it’s a sudden change in energy, a new fear or anxiety, acting more timid around other dogs, walking slower than usual, showing signs of distress during walks or even signs of physical discomfort. I notice!!

Even just something simple like your dog has had a change in routine recently. If they’re a bit confused and unsettled then I notice.

Ways you can help your dogs🩷🤍🩵

• Create a Safe Space
• Use Calming Products
• Maintain a Routine
• Desensitisation (ready for next year)
• Stay Calm
• Provide Extra Comfort
• Avoid Punishment
• Consult a Vet or Trainer
• Give Time & Patience

Please let me know if you’ve noticed a change in your dogs behaviour as this can have an impact our walks together. Especially our group walks. For example it can change the groups dynamics, impact on socialisation, reduce the enjoyment for the dog, develop aggression or fear-based reactivity, and increased anxiety which the other dogs can pick up on.

In such cases, it may be better to give the stressed dog some time to recover before joining my groups again❤️‍🩹 I do worry about all my dogs and I will always do my best to keep them happy and safe. Thank you for reading 🥰

Scent work

Scent work with Harvey & Richmond😆 I love it just as much as the dogs🤣 With Harvey we are working on recent human scent. For this session I’ve been using one of my smelly socks that I’ve had on all day🤪 gross but it has a strong smell of me on it😂 This was Richmonds second go at it and he’s already catching on❤️ Thanks to N E Lincs Dog Training for all the guidance & tips… If you want to try something different with your pups please get in touch with Emma. She’s brilliant at what she does!

Those who don’t like cats… how can you not?!??🤣 Oliver is the sweetest he melts my heart❤️😭

Racing the dogs to the beach😂 I couldn’t wait to see the sun rising 🌅 Ps. Running on sand is impossible🤣 I ran as fast as I could & it looks like I’m taking a slow stroll over the sand dunes

Sit & wait drills🤩 They look well trained but soon after I videoed this Richmond lost it at two small white dogs🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ He’s lead reactive but we’re still working on it 😆

Middy group

A few minutes of madness with Arnold, Rogue, Ralph & Reggie🤣❤️ They were all shattered after 5 mins of zoomies. The walk back to the van was very quiet😂
