It's only fair to post how wonderfully dry and mild this October has been...and in'to November!

For the last 2 years we've had such wet weather from mid October, so it's a very warm welcome 🙏 to start this autumn 🍂.

I'm sure the going out Hunting is pretty good too 👍 which is great for all horses and riders.

All our fences are now stacked away, undercover and will be painted & repaired as necessary.

A brand new course ✨️ for 2025.

We've left the ground with super grass cover and it's in very good condition for opening next year. 🍀🍀

Pics below show a fraction of our new grass gallops (grass is growing nicely) - we will be cutting through the spinny with jumping efforts inside for the Eventer trial nx year.

⛔️🚫 CLOSING DATE INFO - 2024 🚫⛔️

▪️We have today decided that Monday 28th October will be our last day of the year to hire the full course. I'm sure I have contacted everyone who was booked in Tues 29th onwards.

▪️FC ahead is another fair week, but we need good ground to enable the machinery to access & lift all the fences, without making a mess, store/make any repairs & paint them over Winter.

▪️Our ground at the moment is just perfect 👌 as of Wednesday/Thursday - (when we have removed all fences) we will stay open for anyone who wants to train in the field over anything permanent - *see list below. We can offer this at a reduced rate of £15 per head. £20 if you want to include the showjumps.

This will be available untill the heavens open! ..which no doubt won't be long.

▪️We've had a phenomenal year, after a very late start and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your business and loyalty towards us. So, a HUGE thank you 🙏 to the riders, trainers, sponsors, coaches, pony clubs, riding clubs, Carriage drivers, friends, mums dads and all of you who dedicate yourselves to this crazy sport that we love to much ... last but not least our Horses and Ponies.

▪️We will open 2025 (our 5th year) with a brand new course layout and be opening the new gallops (with steeplechase fences - 🐎🐎) as soon as the grass has grown and the ground is ready.

▪️We are also super excited to be planning an Eventer trial - Parking and warm up will be in the field opposite, across the track from the entrance to the XC field. Dates and booking info will be in the new year.

▪️We are looking at various online booking systems (as I keep being told by the HB that the A4 book, that never leaves my side (even comes on holiday with us) has to be updated!! 🤣 don't worry! You'll still be able to book direct with me but you will also be able to reserve a slot online. (Well thats the plan...!)

▪️We are still taking bookings for Tomorrow, Sunday and Monday! And remember, Sophie Brown is here Sunday with a final clinic, so get booked on if you'd like a slot - then we can play it by ear for the reduced course booking from then on.

▪️We are already taking bookings and securing dates for camps 2025, please get in touch if you are interested in a camp for next year and we can save your date. We are very flexible with our packages for catering/non catering and activities etc.

▪️Sorry it's been a long one, but I do think that's it for now!... We hope you've all had a great season, a final shout out to our fence sponsors. If you are a local business and are interested in sponsoring a fence just drop me a message.
