ATTENTION, UPDATE INCOMING!

This week we had lots of pipework to measure, cut and glue for each of the main tunnels 22 ponds (8 systems), ticking off the installation of the OASE compact L filter drums, individual modules, UVs and pumps galore plus 8 Remora air source heat pumps, we will be glad to not see anymore of that for a while......wait there is still the dedicated quarantine🤦

We're also now on with the big fill, there will be further updates soon!

Here's a nice update on where we are so far after having a good couple of weeks at it since letting in the new year.

Lots of heavy machinery and elbow grease used to help with the graft of moving 11 Oase drums and systems into place. We're now hard at it, plumbing all the pipework and equipment together. No small task.

The dedicated quarantine section isn't far off being fibreglassed, much easier now than when we had the other systems to do in the summer, thankfully.

If you've kept an eye on our stories you will have seen the absolutely stunning job Resin works Hull & Yorkshire have achieved in our main tunnel. It's incredible when walking along the 22 ponds!

We will also soon be dropping details on when we are visiting Japan to pick our stock and how you can get involved.

Further progress completed in our second tunnel in preparation for when we visit Japan next year to hand select our stock. Over the next two weeks there will be a little over 1,400 blocks to go down to build over 40,000 litres worth of quarantine systems. We're building this area of ponds differently to our retail tunnel. They will certainly have a very traditional Japanese koi farm feel to them.

OASE filtration and equipment starting to be connected up with lots more to do in the first tunnel too.

Have a look at what we've been up to this week!

Further works completed on the pathway in our first tunnel, three more pond bases completed in the second tunnel and even more windows fitted, only 4 to go now. Lots more to still complete and we are now also getting the large amounts of filtration and goodies turning up daily!

There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel......
