Rare opportunity!!!
Due to business expansion The Shire Veterinary Services is looking for two Registered Veterinary Nurses.
Job type: full-time, 40 hours /week
Salary: between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working hours: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday
(Part time will be considered with pro rata salary)

Role duties:
- routine animal handling and restraining for consultations/ procedures,
- dispensing medication under the veterinary surgeon’s direction,
- processing blood samples and preparing them for collection,
- taking payments from clients,
- reception work and phone answering when necessary,
- cleaning the medical equipment,
- driving a small automatic van.
The right person must be:
- highly motivated, with experience in small animal veterinary practice (newly registered nurses are welcome),
- a hard working individual who’s constantly looking to improve and grow,
- passionate about working with dogs and cats,
- confident handling cats and dog with different temperaments and behaviours,
- an active and friendly person, with a positive attitude,
- empathetic, polite and have good communication skills.
