Today I went to visit Rolo, Bella and Flossie at Rebecca’s, where I was showered with fluffy kisses and cuddles….. I miss my fluffy gang so much, but love seeing how happy they are with Rebecca!! ❤️🐾

A walk with Steph @ Harpenden Happy Hounds this morning. Very different walking together without doggies running around and me using walking sticks, but a lot drier than the hail storm we heard about back home!

Can’t believe we have been in Majorca for 10 days already! It has been a bit chilly, but no heavy rain, mud or grey skies!! Weather is starting to warm up. I’m getting out walking everyday with my sticks (Paul calls me Eddie the Eagle!🤣) and although still very slow and sore, I’m achieving further distances (almost made it to 5K)
I’m missing my fluffy friends so much, so please keep the updates and photos coming!! ❤️🐾

We have decided that the best medicine for healing is good old vitamin D (wrapped in glorious sunshine) so we are off to Majorca. Paul can work remotely, and I can do my daily (very slow) walk and physio in 🤞🏼drier weather!….. Coco didn’t get the memo that I’m not allowed to work for another 4 months 😩, and packed her bags ready to join us!

Last week I found out the upsetting news that I can’t return to work until mid July (6 months after my operation) 😢
I am missing my fluffy friends SO MUCH, but thankful they are being loved and looked after so well by Bex, from Close to home Dog Hotel and Day Care! ❤️🐾
I’m loving seeing my fluffy gang at play on social media and the photos that are sent to me from my clients …. Please keep them coming! ❤️🐾

Missing my fluffy friends SO MUCH! ❤️🐾
It has now been a month since my spine operation and healing is going well but recovery is so much slower than I thought it would be! I am now able to walk 30 minutes VERY slowly (and don’t get far) and sit upright for the same amount of time.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts, messages, cards and gifts…. I’ve been blown away by your kindness!! ❤️

Little update….. I’m home!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Discharged on day 6 after being a model patient (it’s what I’m telling everyone, and not because they couldn’t wait to get rid of me!!🤣)
Long road to recovery ahead but I’m going to listen to my body and not rush it!
Paul will probably need more support than I will, coping with me, and trying to keep me from doing anything!! 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve taken a couple days off to head to Brighton, where my sister has just been awarded a medal for 20 years in service as a paramedic…… I am so incredibly proud of her!! Well done Vicky!!!

Well that was a VERY muddy and puddly walk!….I almost achieved a ‘Vicar of Dibley’ moment when I stepped in a muddy puddle and shot down about 10 inches, and poor Bella nearly had to swim through it!
Back home now, all washed and drying off! ❤️🐾

Having an amazing holiday with Harpenden Happy Hounds and a few others, but missing my fluffy dogs! Have made friends with lots of street dogs, that are all just so friendly….. one even joined me on my towel when on the beach! ❤️🐾

This morning we enjoyed a lovely walk around the fields between Kensworth and Markyate.
Coco and Bingo managed to find the ONLY puddle in Hertfordshire, and splash around in it! 😩while Fergus enjoyed a good roll in the recently cut hay! 😱
I think they all had a good time!!

My last week at work for a few months 😢….. But looking forward to being back fighting fit! I will miss ALL my fluffy friends! ❤️🐾
So great to have my fluffy friends back…. And this evening we have welcomed Ralph, who is staying for the evening, while his owners have a party. Happy 2024! ❤️😢
I tried to avoid the thick mud due to my fluffy dogs being in their gorgeous Christmas jumpers….but failed! 😱❤️🐾
That was a VERY WET walk with @harpendenhappyhounds_ Where is our Christmas snow and frost that stop the dogs getting covered in mud???!!! 😩 ❤️🐾
A lovely, but cold walk this morning all around Wigmore Valley Park, where we saw the airplanes landing and the fire crew practicing putting the aircraft model fire out (think I was more interested in that they were!🤣)… We walked over open fields, through woods and even (with encouragement) had a paddle in the giant puddles. ❤️🐾
Well that was wet, muddy and a very yucky walk with #harpendenhappyhounds, but the dogs didn’t care. They had so much fun running around like crazy loons at Batford Springs together. ❤️🐾
A new walk today accessing a footpath that I have avoided for years, due to dangerous dogs living in the property the path passes through….. but they have now moved, so we can finally walk on this great track that goes over open fields and through woods. ❤️🐾
Today would have been this boy’s 6th birthday, but life can be so unfair! Always in our thoughts and our hearts!! 💔🐾
