As the new year takes off I thought I would post a little introduction for those new followers!! As a qualified equine massage therapist my goal is to make as many horses and ponies as comfortable as possible! Massage improves muscle health, allowing horses to move and feel their best! Massage keeps muscles strong, supple and mobile, enabling your horse to stay comfortable, strong and light. So whatever your new year goals, ridden or in hand, massage will help get you there!!

Bert is a great example of a ROR horse! No longer racing, he is retraining in dressage and show jumping! Regular massage keeps Bert’s muscles in optimum health, releasing any stiffness which is building up and keeping the muscles supple so they can work efficiently to support his training!

Horses often yawn during massage as demonstrated here by Brock this morning. Yawning is a way of releasing muscular tension, equivalent to us having a stretch or a heavy sigh 🥱🐴
