My name is Beth and I have taken the leap to turn my passion for walking and the outdoors, and love of dogs, in to a dog walking business - Tails and Trails! I am fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid certified. I will not be doing any street walking as dogs need way more than just stretching their legs. I will take them to the woods, hills and beach so they can run, play and explore the

sights, smells and sounds around them for an all round workout, providing mental and physical stimulation. If you (and your dog) are happy with a group walk they will enjoy socialisation, which in turn builds confidence and prevents reactivity. Solo walks are also offered if you would feel more comfortable for your dog to be walked alone. I will return your dog to your home happy and (relatively) clean, refill their water and provide and end of walk report. A meet and greet will take place before any walk to complete the relevant paperwork and answer any questions you may have. We’ve had some great walks today but this has been my favourite - minus the rabbit carcass! These guys have walked beautifully together as a tight pack- a proper feral walk. Out in the windy wilds - what a job ❤️

So lucky to share these fields with 2 other amazing dog walkers 🐶❤️ we can walk knowing all our dogs are friendly and will be safe together 🐾 we always check where the others are and if they need space before entering the field and if all is good - we enjoy super social doggy walks!

Massive thanks to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre for having us at their fun dog show today!! Fabulous event!! We had a blast, met loads of lovely people and even lovelier dogs 😍 they’d all win first place in our eyes 🐾 💕 Hope they all enjoy their Treaty treats

Keep an eye out dog parents - these things are a nightmare!!

Unfortunately it's foxtail season again 😞 Foxtail plants are a weed-type grass that can cause serious problems for animals!
Ear infections, nosebleeds/rhinitis, pyothorax, abscesses and tetanus are just SOME of the serious issues that can come from these little guys! If you notice your pet repeatedly sneezing, pawing at their ears, coughing or acting uncomfortable, these could be signs of a possible foxtail and should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

A special shout out for our little Twiggy 👏👏 she is only (about) 5 months old and already is a staple group member! She has fabulous recall, stays with the group, no daft puppy business and today walked on a populated beach and did not run over to a single dog!! What a legend 🌟 normally puppies are hard work on a group walk but not thing superstar - falls in line every single time! BIG UP TWIGGY 🐾

Check lil Twiggy having her first off lead experience at not even 16 weeks 🤩 she did amazing, and had Alvin for a wonderful role model! This is the beauty of our new fields - although not secured by fencing, there is no risk of any distractions from random dogs, people, horses or the like. The perfect place to get working on that recall. Great work Twiggy 👏
