Fresh trims for Wilson & Harry.
Bath and tidy for training student Skye.
Then out for some 121s for Milo and puppy George.
Then finally groom for my 4 😝

No time for a flyball hangover for me! Straight into a 12 hour day !
First off pack dog walk with the gang,
Followed by full scissor cut grooms for Buzz & Cobweb the Poms.
Dinner time welfare pop in for puppy marvin,
Back home to groom Oakley for his first big boy groom. Who refused to get a nice picture.
Out to a 121 for little Leo (who I forgot to get a picture of).
Back home to groom Eddie and then finally a last minute - late night- emergency bandage for whisky.

Salon is cleaned and prepped ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Divisional Winners @ British Flyball Association Outdoor Championships !🔵🔴⚪️

Second year in a row for INFINITY 🔴🟠🟡

What an amazing 5 days we have had in Tamworth competing.
All the teams raced their socks off, the atmosphere was incredible. We had every weather possible, but finished nicely with a night of shooting stars.

Over the 3 weeks we will cover
Boundary training, Sit, Down, Sit up, Stand, Full Retrieve (including drop), Heel Work Basics.

This course will brake down the steps of teaching new behaviours to make sure they get it right the first time you ask.
Whether its starting from scratch, trouble shooting the behaviours you have already taught, or totally retraining the commands.
This short course can help you.

Being Little Wolf club this short course is open to dogs under 1 year old.
A perfect pairing to the LWC 6 Week Foundation course.

Just a reminder to give your puppies a break.
Manage your expectations. They are doing the best they can

Today I am 16 weeks old.
That is 4 months.

In this time I have....
Opened my eyes
Opened my ears
Learnt how to feed
Learnt how to walk
Learnt how to talk
Learnt how to play.
Learnt how to chew

I have ....
Moved home
Lost all my family
Made a new family
Learnt where to sleep, eat & drink
Been made to where a collar and harness.

I have ...
Learnt where and when to toilet
Learnt my name
Learnt sit stay and down.

I have had weekly nail trimming, monthly baths and been injected 3 times.

I have found grass, trees, birds , bees , sand and the sea.
I have been stroked by every passer by.
I have been barked at and sniffed by dogs twice my size.
I have been attacked by cats.
I have been in cars and watched them go by.
I have been in the wind, rain, sun and hail.

Remember I am only 4 months old.

My body and mind are growing everyday.
So please forgive me if I make a mistake.

DOG GROOMING REHABILITATION 🐾
Everybody meet Charlie.

When we first met he wouldn't let anyone pick him up off the floor. There was no getting near him, he was far too stressed and it wasn't safe.
He couldn't handle eye contact or physical touch. He was so unpredictable and needed a muzzle.

Over the years we have built his confidence and just started with a simple clip off with no bath and found what works for him.

Yesterday was alot for him with coming to my new salon but he managed a full groom. Bath blow dry and clip.
He only needed to be muzzled for front feet and nails which is amazing progress for this little dude. And he was a pleasure to style his face.

**** 1-2-1 client notice **** Im not having the best of luck with this van at the moment. Back to the garage it goes for the 4th time to figure out its mystery engine lights. There is a chance we may have to refer back to the dealership so therefor 1-2-1 appointment requests are going to be left on 'Pending' until I have a better idea of where we stand. WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS 🐾 You + Your dog A hungry dog will be more likely to focus and work hard 🐾 Part of your dog's daily food allowance. Using your dog's kibble is a great way to train and have fun. It makes meal time exciting and doesn't overload your dog with treats 🐾High value food reward. I use dog treats with 80% meat content to keep them as healthy as possible. Choose something that your dog loves! 🐾 Training long line This can be the double clip Halti lead or a rope training line. 🚫Not an extendable lead 🐾 Tug toy They create crazy drive and empower every training session. If your dog doesn't know how to tug then bring your dog's favourite toy 🐾 Appropriate clothing & footwear. Especially noted for the outdoor classes. Please consider our unpredictable weather. The ground might be muddy Or it could be glorious sunshine 🤷 be prepared. 🐾Collar, Harness & Lead. I request that dogs are on a harness rather than a collar. But it is also law that dogs must wear a collar and an identification tag. 🚫Please note: No choke chains, or punishment collars. Leads must be solid and not a retractable/extendable 🐾 Poo Bags We must respect the area we are working in and be responsible for cleaning up after our dogs. 🐾 finally, don't forget to Smile !
