✨Appreciation post ✨ This morning on my way to work I had a huge puncture that couldn’t be repaired & my car doesn’t come with a spare tyre (🙃) so my wonderful husband had to come out & wait with my car until the tyre people could come out & replace it .. in the mean time I was now running late so thank you to my clients for understanding / rescheduling .. when I got to work I had my daughter with me (rather than leaving her with Tom in the cold ) and our amazing .life.of.luella kept her entertained whilst I got my dogs bathed 🥰 So a little thank you to you all for making what could of been a very stressful morning go a lot smoother ..! Also to Violet for being such a cool kid & taking it all in her stride .. with only a few of our Xmas chocolates to keep her happy 🥰🤍

The biggest collie I have ever seen let alone worked with 😮‍💨 After quite literally putting my back out getting him into the bath Sod is feeling much better after his bath, deshed & tidy up 🐾🤍🤩

It’s a hard job but someone’s gotta do it 😅 Little Jasper came in for his first puppy intro today .. he’s 14 weeks so the perfect age to get him started 🥰

Poppy came in for the pamper of her life today .. Poppy has been a working dog all her life & with that comes with living in a kennel .. now she’s an older lady she’s retired & has moved into the humans house to live out her days in comfort .. but, being a lab she sheds .. a lot so we gave her a good deshed, clipped her pads & cleaned her ears and she left feeling like a new woman 💁🏼‍♀️ 💅

Banjo came in today for his first puppy intro session at The Grooming Shack & what a little star he was .. Banjo is 7 months so it’s actually quite late for him to begin on his grooming journey but he took it all in hushed stride & proved to be a good boy .. Puppy intro sessions are such an important part of grooming as it gets them used to the salon environment, the sounds, smells etc without it being too overwhelming with a full groom .. we recommend you bring your pups in as soon as they’ve had their jabs to get them started .. especially any poodle mix breed as they are prone to matting & also being a pain to groom if not introduced properly 🫠 Message me if you would like any more information 🐾

When people think that because you’re a groomer you just spend all day cuddling puppies .. uhhh no, we cuddle fully grown dogs as well ..! 😂🥰 In all seriousness tho, this job is HARD but dogs like Lucky make it all so worth it 🥰🖤🤍🐾 #doggrooming #doggroomer #bordercollie #collie
