Every dog gets a walk diary so we can have direct communication everyday.

Photos posted daily so you can see what your four legged friend is up to!

Fun at play dates today! 🐾🐾

Recall circuits in class tonight 🐾

In this weeks class we were looking at exercises that can improve joint movement and keep dogs fit in more ways than just walking. Here is a lovely video of a SPIN - spin is great for getting the spine moving, it's also great for adding on to already known behaviours such as recall to keep it interesting and fun for them. **** More great videos in the comments ****

This week in class we learnt 'Middle', its an excellent piece of training for: - extra recall tool - nervous dogs - helping your dog to settle somewhere busy - reactive dogs Its an all rounder piece of training. Here is a video of Leda adding some distance in with it!

Finn has been coming to see me for some regular 1:2:1's this week we worked on loose lead walking and incorporated a stop. He is doing such a great job and his mummy should be very proud of herself and him for all their hard work! 👏

I had a wonderful time doing some 1:2:1 training with Brecken this week. He is coming along so well with his training already and it's only been a couple of days!

About me

I’ve always had a passion for animals and currently have 2 Miniature Dachshunds named Bambi & Luna. They are full of personality and energy, and always keep me on my toes. As well as the 2 dogs I also have a couple of mini lop- eared rabbits, EB & Joules, and a bearded dragon named Jeff.

In the past my husband and I fostered and trained a Boxer cross puppy name Coco for 10 months transforming her into an amazing pet ready for a permanent home.

I grew up with all sorts of animals, we had Alsatians, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, budgies, fish and cats to name a few, and over the years I developed a passion of animals. I am currently studying to become a member of the IMDT and have completed a couple of their level 3 courses – Learning, Motivation & Reinforcement and Principles of Training & Behaviour.

I set up Beresford Animal Services because I wanted to work in an area I am passionate about. Being with animals everyday really doesn’t feel like a job to me, I’m one of the lucky ones who can say ‘I love my job!’ I also needed flexible hours because I am a mummy to a lovely little girl called Iyla. I wanted to do something that would work for us as a family to create a better home-life balance.
