About me

I’ve always had a passion for animals and currently have 2 Miniature Dachshunds named Bambi & Luna. They are full of personality and energy, and always keep me on my toes. As well as the 2 dogs I also have a couple of mini lop- eared rabbits, EB & Joules, and a bearded dragon named Jeff.

In the past my husband and I fostered and trained a Boxer cross puppy name Coco for 10 months transforming her into an amazing pet ready for a permanent home.

I grew up with all sorts of animals, we had Alsatians, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, budgies, fish and cats to name a few, and over the years I developed a passion of animals. I am currently studying to become a member of the IMDT and have completed a couple of their level 3 courses – Learning, Motivation & Reinforcement and Principles of Training & Behaviour.

I set up Beresford Animal Services because I wanted to work in an area I am passionate about. Being with animals everyday really doesn’t feel like a job to me, I’m one of the lucky ones who can say ‘I love my job!’ I also needed flexible hours because I am a mummy to a lovely little girl called Iyla. I wanted to do something that would work for us as a family to create a better home-life balance.
