Was great to see High Peak PC making the most out of the weather on Tuesday evening, first use of the grass arena for 2024…
Hopefully everywhere dries out fairly quickly and we can get the rest of the Show jump’s and Dressage boards out over the weekend! 🤞🏼

Not the outcome we were expecting this year after the warm weather these past weeks… Great British weather strikes again. ☔️
Our sympathies go out to all those involved, from organisers to competitors at Chatsworth Int Horse Trials, so much time and effort goes into these events. We were extremely excited to be hosting the Shetland Pony Grand Prix ponies and riders this weekend 😢
On a plus side our last lamb was born this week!
Chatsworth International Horse Trials cancelled
We are devastated to announce that due to the last 12 hours of heavy rain on site, under instruction from the BE and FEI officials we have been forced to cancel the 2024 Chatsworth International Horse Trials.
We are sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause. Our team has worked incredibly hard to organise the event, however the decision has been taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our athletes, visitors and horses, which is our number one priority.
All ticket holders will be contacted to process a full refund. There is no need to contact us.

Public update… For anyone who was concerned for the welfare of the previously homeless wicker chair… the wind has now moved it to its new home. I feel like we are going to have to adopt/ re-home said chair… 🪑
You never know what you will find down by the river 🤔 This chair seems to have had a heavy weekend and lost it’s way home… If you have lost a wicker garden chair 🪑 it appears to have given up and just sat her enjoying the view. #missingchair
