Afternoon everyone and 🎉🐾 Happy Small Business Saturday! 🐾🎉
Today we’re celebrating all the amazing independent businesses that make Matlock so special — including us! Thank you for supporting local, choosing small, and helping our community thrive all year round. ❤️

It’s an extra special weekend too… the Matlock Victorian Christmas Market is celebrating it's 30th year🎄✨ If you’re in town, pop by for festive fun, unique gifts, and plenty of wagging tails.

I'm already in full celebration mode, why not come and join the fun! 🎁🐶💛

Morning 👍 how are you all on this last Friday of November?
Without frightening you too much, that means it is only 4 weeks till Christmas 😲🎄🎅
So we want to help get you organised and to start this we've got an offer of 25%off dog and cat advent calendars ahead of Monday 😋
We've also had a delivery of wreaths and crosses to go with the artificial ones.
The real holly wreaths are £10, the crosses are £18 and the artificial wreaths are £7 for the small and £11 for the large.
More real wreaths will be coming soon in different sizes 👍
Don't forget we have lots more Christmas items in the shop so come and pay us a visit to get in the festive spirit

Afternoon, hope you're all good 👍
Well, the weather has certainly changed and is feeling much more like winter 🥶 so I've got my woolly hat on to keep my ears warm and I've been eyeing up a warm coat from the shop 🧥 in case it gets even colder and wetter. I just need to decide on a colour now.
I might get one for tonight to go and watch the switch on of the Christmas lights 🎄 and, maybe, I might even get to see Father Christmas 🎅
Which reminds me, December the 1st is a week on Monday so don't forget to come in for your advent calendar beforehand.
Right, time to start trying on coats (this may take some time as we have so many to choose from 😂) see you later love Ernie xx

It's beginning to look even more like Christmas 🎄🎅, the wreaths have arrived.
Currently we only have the artificial wreaths and they are either £7 or £11
We are expecting the fresh wreaths soon, I'll keep you posted when they arrive
Don't forget we also have all the Christmas treats and toys in the shop too, and we have advent calendars 😁😋
I've got mine but mum has put it on the highest shelf in the pantry so I can't reach it 😞 although I think if I tried hard enough I could jump up and get it 😉
Time to write my letter to Santa now. Do you think I'll be on his nice or naughty list 🤷‍♂️🤞

Sorry, not sorry but Christmas has arrived 😂🤣 🎄🎅🎁 and I'm definitely in the Christmas spirit 😁
If you're one of those people who love to be organised then come in and get the pick of the goodies, and if you're not then close your eyes when you come in 😆🙈
Now I've got to convince mum and dad to put the decorations up at home 😁 and maybe even let me test a few of the toys and treats 😉

Hello and happy Tuesday 😀
I've had another busy week so I've only just found time to come on here and speak to you.
Here at the shop we're always looking for new products 👀 and we've found a company who have some fantastic products 👌
As you can see I've been putting some to the test 🔬⚗️ (I've always wanted to be a scientist 😁)
Now that they're well tested they will be arriving at the shop very soon.
We will be stocking herb supplements such as Calm Down!, Get Over!, TurmerDog! and Billy No Mates!. These are designed to help with stressful situations, joint stiffness, digestive and immune symptoms, and fleas and ticks.
We'll also be stocking skin kind cream, shampoo and sprays which help keep skin supple, healthy, and clear and help say goodbye to fleas and ticks.
Keep an eye out for them arriving on the shelves, and me in my white coat 🥼😂, love Ernie xx

Hello 👋 well, here's the result of my exciting project 😊
After lots of planning the new window graphics have been applied to the window 🪟 today 👍and, when I said you'd be seeing a lot more of me, I meant it literally as my photo has pride of place at the top of the window 😁. I think I look rather handsome if I do say so myself 😂
You might also have noticed that Archie's picture has also made it onto the window 🐕 and he's looking gorgeous too🥰
I have to say a huge thank you to for the fantastic job they have done for us again, we couldn't be happier.

Good evening everyone 🙌
I've had a busy weekend which is why I'm only just posting and it's a very exciting reason that I'm late
😁 But I'm not telling, it's top secret 🤐
All I can say is that you should find out what it is this week and then you'll be seeing a lot more of me 🤔
So keep a look out when you're in town this week and you might just see my secret.

Afternoon everyone, hope you're all ok 👍
I'm out enjoying the nice weather while we still have it🌤️ and then tomorrow will be a day relaxing before work next week.
Talking of next week, I've noticed that we're going to be having more roadworks 🚦🚧 on Bakewell road, but it's not as bad as it sounds because I've checked and the work is going to be carried out overnight between 8pm and 5am.
That means you will still be able to pull up outside the shop if you need to load up on lots of goodies 😁
I might even see if they'll let me have a go on the tarmac roller 😂

Hello and happy Sunday 😁👋 I'm feeling very chilled and relaxed today which I think is down to my pamper session yesterday.
I knew that the weather was going to be awful ☔🌧️so I collected lots of nice smelling goodies from the shop and settled in to try them all.
I started with a nice bath 🛁 using the relaxing lavender 🪻 shampoo and then a second wash with the manuka honey 🍯 shampoo.
Then I trimmed my nails with the Ancol nail clippers and had a good brush with a pin slicker brush (very nice, like having a massage 👍)
Once I was all dry I finished off with paw and nose 👃 balm and a good spray of Old Spike.
Mum says I've scrubbed up very well, but dad says it smells like I've fallen in a vat of perfume 😂
Anyway I need to find somewhere to go now to show off my shiny coat and nose, soft paws, and wonderful fragrance 😊.
If you're out and about you'll probably smell me before you see me 🙈🤣, love Ernie xx

Good morning everyone 👋
Hope you're enjoying the sunshine 🌞 or not enjoying the rain 🌧️ (depending on what the weather is doing when you read this 😂)
All I know is that the weather is definitely feeling autumnal 🍁🍂 and the nights are starting to draw in 😔 although our garden looks like Matlock Bath Illuminations with all the solar lights 💡💡😂
Because of the change in the weather I've been looking at some new products and found some great rechargeable lights in different designs to hang on collars. There are a few designs to choose from and they are all USB rechargeable and waterproof 👍 which is great. Definitely good for safety in the dark.
And of course my favourite new product is the light up ball ⚽😁 because it means I can still play fetch at night 👏 and it's also USB rechargeable and waterproof 👍
I did get carried away the other night though and I glowed in the dark when I got the whole ball in my mouth 🤣😂 mum said I looked like I was auditioning for a horror film
