Meet Flynn, a sweet and gentle soul looking for his forever home. Flynn is a nervous little guy who has been through a lot. His previous adopter, unfortunately, used the wrong training methods for a 'quick fix', which made him even more anxious. But now, Flynn is safe and thriving in a loving foster home.
When Flynn first arrived, he was very nervous, but with patience and love, he has come around beautifully withing a few days. He now follows his foster mum around the house and loves to snuggle up in bed. Flynn is still hesitant to approach new people and would do best in a quiet home without too much commotion. He has been walking with a group of dogs of different sizes. He is mostly relaxed after a few walks. Flynn is cautious initially when meeting new dogs and can be a bit snappy when he feels overwhelmed. He prefers to back out of a situation rather than be confrontational.
Flynn is not very food-focused but does enjoy his dinner, though he is a bit fussy about treats. He hasn't shown much interest in playing with toys but sometimes carries them off to hide in his bed. Flynn is on medication for his itchy skin, which he takes easily when wrapped in a piece of cheese. Flynn needs a patient and understanding adopter who can provide a calm and stable environment. He has so much love to give and just needs the right home to blossom fully. If you think you can be that special someone for Flynn, please get in touch with us. Let's give Flynn the loving home he deserves.
โโThese dogs have almost certainly never been in houses, never been on leads and not had a good start in life. It's likely that all dogs will be nervous on arrival and will need time and space to come round to their new families. In terms of training they will have had none, and in this respect should be treated like an 8 week old pup. We have estimated ages and estimated sizes, none of these things are concrete and the dogs may grow bigger than we think they will once they get good food and warm, loving homes. Dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, health checked. They are dewormed and deflead however sometimes the doses just arenโt enough so you should prepare for having to redo this when they arrive using treatment prescribed by a vet.
All Dog Rescue Scotland give no guarantee as to the size puppies will be at maturity. The adopter must accept that ADRS can not be held responsible and should a dog be returned due to size no refund will be given.
