We are looking for a motivated individual to join our friendly reception team with flexibility to cover holidays throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have a love of animals and enjoy being customer facing. You will work as part of a team as well as solo work. It can be a fast-paced environment so ability to think on your feet and thrive under pressure would be advantageous.
Role and responsibilities include, essential administrative support for the veterinary team and the clients, contributing to the management of the diary, stock and general running of the business.

With restrictions now easing, we have received a number of enquiries from clients thinking about booking their dogs into kennels or doggy day care. We would recommend checking in advance that your dog's vaccinations are up to date - your kennels will be able to advise you on which ones they need before their stay.

Please be aware that the practice is very busy at the moment, if you would like an appointment for vaccinations or annual boosters we would suggest calling to book a few days in advance.

Cat handed into the practice last night after being hit by a car. No collar or microchip so trying to find the owner. The cat is a middle-aged male, black and white longhair. Candidate
We are seeking an enthusiastic vet to join our friendly mixed practice. Experience is preferred but not a necessity, we are happy to support a new graduate who shows interest and is keen to get stuck in, in mixed practice.

Practice
We are an independent, genuinely mixed practice in the beautiful Carrick Valley in Ayrshire. We have a well-equipped surgery with digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house full Idexx lab.

Role
The role has varied workloads, including fertility work, herd health plans and small animal surgery to name but a few. There is an equally shared on call rota with a half day per week.

Package
Four and a half day week (with the prospect to going to 4 days per week). Employee support program, professional fee’s paid, generous CPD budget, 6 weeks holiday allowance, company vehicle and housing allowance.

Salary dependant on experience.
