I currently live with three gorgeous Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens, a Griffon rescued from Spain, and a new addition to our pack, a Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen. One of my dogs adores being groomed (the others just tolerate it!) and that led me into dog grooming. I have shown 3 of my PBGVs at Crufts, always grooming them myself, and completed and passed my Level 2 City and Guilds in dog grooming.

Myself and my colleagues are trained in all types of dog grooming and offer this in a lovely calm environment. We will look after your dog like it is one of my own. Full grooms from £35, bath only from £20, all dependant upon size and coat type of dog.

We are open tomorrow 9.30-4pm and Monday 23rd 9-5 and then we will close until Thursday 2nd Jan 2025.

As well as grooming beautiful dogs, we have been busy getting ready for the Melbourne late night opening and Christmas light switch on, which is tomorrow Friday 6th December. Our window is dressed (photo to come tomorrow) and we’ve also been sourcing some new delicious treats, including these bite-sized beauties including pizza, salmon maki and burgers!! Only £1.99 each - your dog would like to try a few!!

We are very excited to be taking part in the Melbourne Christmas light switch on event, next Friday (6th December). Our doors will be open, please come in and browse, and pick up a gift or two for your dog, or for the dog lovers in your life!

There will be live music, stalls, Santa, plus late night opening in the very varied and beautiful shops that make up Melbournes high street.

This lovely little girl had her first groom with us today, visiting with her little sister who first came a few weeks ago. We always take the time to settle the dogs in with us both before and after their grooms, it helps build a bond with them. I took this little video - how cute is this!! 😍😍

We took a video to send to this Cockerpoos owner, to prove to her that he is happy when he is here! He’s not keen to come in (or walk past ) the salon but we find with most dogs, as soon as the owner has dropped off and left, they’re absolutely fine! #goingtheextramile #doggroominglife #cockerpoosofinstagram
