Anyone that knows me, already know that Dressage to Music isn’t my favourite thing to do 😂 but with Sophie’s talent, not only was it super fun to ride to it also really really suited my gorgeous golden girl! Berry has been tricky to find the right music for. Something that isn’t too overpowering for her, as she can get nervous in the ring, but also something upbeat to show her amazing movement off to! Think this is the perfect combination and the judges loved it too! Pre Regional competition @chardequestrian Nemo was super with a win 🥇 in the Elementary Gold with 72% and a 9 for his paces! Unfortunately it wasn’t Berry’s day, she got quite nervous & lost her confidence in the first test so we withdrew from the second test, not sure if it was just a bit of a long day on the lorry for her, or she work up on the wrong side of the bed, but she is a chestnut mare, so who knows! Day one at Sparsholt Autumn Celebration of Dressage, super start to the weekend! Nemo 3rd & 5th in the Novice & Freestyle Gold with 68% & 70%. Berry 1st & 2nd in the Medium & Freestyle Gold with 68% & 71%. Dinky the star of the day, pulled off a clear round test to win the PSG & 2nd in the Inter 1 with just under 67%! Sophie & Lucy also came 1st with 70% in the Elementary & 4th in their first Medium together! Such a fun day with everyone, finishing of with a super cooked super & drinks for our yard outing! 🥇🥇🥇 🥈

After lots of training at home it was really nice to take him to @burrowscourtfarm to do the Advanced. He was definitely calmer and more focused today, although still not the score I’m hoping for with him, it’s definitely going in the right direction!
