Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool We are an Animal Rescue Centre based Melling, Liverpool. We Rescue Rehabilitate and Rehome Dogs, Cats and other animals. We have a no destruction policy.

We are Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool a rescue of over 40 years, We Rescue Rehabilitate and Rehome dogs, cats and other animals. We promote responsible pet ownership vaccinating, microchipping and neutering all of our animals. We take animals from homes that are needing to be rehomed but the majority of our dogs are from stray dog pounds where they have served there 7 days as an unclaimed st

ray, and are now due to be destroyed. We believe that all animals are equal and no animal or breed is discriminated against. We LOVE bull breeds and encourage dog lovers to give a rescue bull breed a chance, there is a perfect rescue dog out there for everyone. Each one comes with there own love, personality and wiseness, not to be matched. REHOMING POLICY: the majority of our dogs coming from stray dog pounds they are unable to be rehomed with children under 13 as we have no history on them. Our insurance policy does not allow us to rehome any dog with children under 13.

Hello, it's Domino here again! All three of my siblings have been adopted now, and I don't want to be left behind. I'm a cheeky and confident 11-week-old boy, and definitely the biggest mischief maker of the litter.

I could live with other gentle pets, as well as sensible children aged 10 or upwards. I could be raised as an indoor only cat. If you'd like me to go outside in future, you will need to live in a safe neighbourhood and not near any busy roads.

Nala enjoyed her holiday in Aberdeenshire living her best life.

Nala enjoyed the 7 hour car journey with plenty of stops and sleeps the whole way on the back seats no accidents! She is a dream.

Saturday Cuteness!
Long post coming up! Just had to share this wonderful story with you. It has been uplifting following the progress of Cooper and Tasha. I met Ian and Karin because they asked for help catching a pregnant semi feral stray cat in their garden in April 2022. They had fed her very day, as had a couple of other neighbours too. When I visited they had a lovely old dog called Max who they had adopted from us in 2010 when he was 9 months old, and he had lived his life as a king with them. He was much adored. I caught the cat and we named her Tasha. She went into foster with one of our fab foster team Danielle Robinson. She gave birth to 4 kittens, all healthy and she was a good mum. In May I fostered a young kitten found alone on an industrial estate, a similar age to Tasha's kittens. The kitten wouldn't bottle feed for me, and I was worried about her, so we thought we would try and see if Tasha would take her on. We borrowed one of Tasha's blankets and rubbed the kitten all over with her scent, and gave the kitten to her. Wonderful Tasha accepted her as her own and successfully raised 5 kittens. All got lovely homes and Danielle kept Tasha for a while trying to get her more used to people. She was then neutered, and as she didn't seem that keen on people, we released her back to Ian and Karin's garden in a lovely rural location. Ian and Karin continued to feed her every day, but she still came nowhere near them. By December 2023 she was sleeping in the back porch but did no more than poke her head in the kitchen, but rarely left their garden. Sadly Max passed away in February 2024 almost 15 years old. Tasha continued to grow in confidence. Ian and Karin adopted Cooper, a 13 week old puppy from us in the March. He had had 2 homes before he ended up at the Sanctuary! Ian and Karin instantly fell in love with him, and we all felt fate had intervened. Cooper is now 14 months old. And to fast forward from July 2022 to February 2025, Tasha rarely leaves the house and sleeps on the bed with Cooper, who Ian and Karin describe as an absolute joy. Tasha and Cooper gradually made friends with each other and it was just lovely seeing their friendship grow. This really is a fairy tale ending for both Cooper and Tasha, and my deepest thanks to Ian and Karin for being such brilliant owners and showing so much patience and love to them both. Meet these two adorable little girls 🐶🐶♥️

Lucy and Dottie are two lovely 8/9 yr old dinky little crossbreed sisters♥️

They are looking for their forever home as sadly their Dad died suddenly. Since then they've been getting spoiled in a wonderful foster home with other dogs and children and getting used to life without him.

Both girls are good with other dogs but definitely not cats! They're great with children and could live with children over the age of 10.

Don't be fooled by their age - they're both still
lively and active little girls and will bring lots of love and laughter to their new home. 🥰

Penny is a sweet little cocker spaniel who was found abandoned in appalling condition .
This sweet little girl is 7 years old as we know from her chip but no other information was registered.

Penny is now looking for her forever home🥰

Penny was very shut down when she arrived at the kennels but has been coming along well in her foster home .
Penny would be best as the only dog in the home so that she can be showered with all the love and attention she deserves .

Hello, we are Almond and Cashew! We came to the rescue from a hoarding situation, along with several other cats.

Because of the circumstances, there is limited information on things like our age, but we seem quite young. Cashew is a timid but gentle boy, while Almond is a sweet-natured girl. We'd like to stay together, and could also live with other pets (since that's what we're used to). We haven't been around children.

It's unknown whether we were kept indoors or allowed out. If you did want to let us outside, you would need to live in a safe neighbourhood, away from busy roads.

Delightful Dottie a 2-3 year old crossbreed is now taking applications for a new home 🏠 🤗
This Gorgeous girl had been through so much,
Tied up to a gate cruelly abandoned, undernourished and in season , her ears mutilated 😔
Thanks to those who found her and a wonderful foster home, she has made a good recovery.❤️‍🩹
Dottie we believe is a Staffie x mastiff type , she has been examined by a breed specific expert and does not conform to any banned breed standards, she does not have the characteristics that determine an XL Bullie .
She is a squat and chunky girl , loves to sleep , relax and cuddles . She enjoys a walk with her foster carer. He has taken time from his job to give her the care she needed to recover and be neutered. ❤️🙏
Dottie is very special, she is not dog reactive but would benefit by being the only much loved and cherished pet in a home .
She would love a calm quiet home.

Hello, we are Twinkle, Little Star, and Tasha! We are shy but friendly girls, who were rescued from a hoarding situation. Twinkle is thought to be Little Star's mum, and Tasha is possibly a sister. Our exact ages aren't known, but we all seem fairly young.

Twinkle is the shyest of the three, while the other two can quickly be befriended if you have food! Because we're used to living together, ideally we'd like to stay together, or be adopted to homes with other gentle cats who would welcome us. We'd prefer not to live with young children.

Carlo is a 5 year old bull lurcher, he is a real gent and perfect in a home environment .

Carlo is very friendly with all the staff and volunteers here at CLAIN he just loves a fuss. Although Carlo has been dog friendly and lived with another dog, out on his walks he can be reactive to some, he would suit a capable handler and would need a home without other pets.

Carlo just loves a run around in the paddock and showing off his zoomies! He is a good boy and listens well, he knows how to sit and enjoys catching treats.

This is Lilly and Lola.
They were dumped by their owner 😢. Despite us having no room and giving other rescues numbers to try, he decided to dump, nearly resulting in them being hit by a car.
We have all owner’s details and will be passing onto the authorities.

Lola - grey - 8 1/2 years old
Lilly - brown - 7 1/2 years old

They have been together all of their life so are very well bonded and will need a home together. They are no trouble very easy going and great with all staff and volunteers here at CLAIN.

They will be having further assessment over the next few days.

Stormy is a 2/3yr old Presa cross, she has been seen by experts and deemed NOT TYPE🤍 We have had the pleasure of being around Stormy for several months whilst she was waiting to be assessed by type experts, and how lucky we truly are to have been able to be around such a sweetheart. Stormy was found abandoned and tied up, left alone and not knowing what was going to happen to her. Stormy is just an absolute gem, radiating affection and love wherever she goes. Her friendly demeanor and sweet nature make her the perfect companion for anyone lucky enough to welcome her into their home. Stormy deserves a forever home that will shower her with the unconditional love and care she craves, where she can flourish and share her boundless happiness.
