🐶🐶FAIR & FUN DOG SHOW BOOKING IN🐶🐶

Here is our online booking for our next dog show on 18th August to save you from queuing up on the day.

Don't worry, we will still have our booking-in table and you can also enter into further classes on the day.

It costs £2 to enter each class.

⭐️Each class has it's own payment link, so all you need to do is choose your class, when given the option to leave us a message, just add your dogs name, then make the payment.

⭐️You will then receive an email response thanking you for booking your dog in. Keep this handy, as you may have to show it when entering into the dog show arena on the day.

Calling all our VIP FACEBOOK FRIENDS!

We need YOU. It's a desperate time for our rescue. We are under huge pressure to take in more urgent dogs, cats and rabbits when the pens are already full to capacity, owners demanding us to take their pets the same day, threatening to have them put to sleep or simply abandoning them. It's totally heartbreaking.

You can do your bit to help by supporting our show, making a donation and sharing our posts.

We would love you all to join us tomorrow for our Summer Fair and Fun Dog Show.

We'll be at Lydiate Parish Hall from 1-4pm. There's lots of fabulous stalls, tasty food and 10 class fun dog show to watch.

Meet Marley a very Handsome 7 yr old Jack Russel 🐶♥️

Marley is a very friendly little chap and loves people and children. He has been a much loved family pet and is well cared for however the dynamics between 4 dogs in one house means that Marley and another dog need rehoming. No negative comments as this decision was made in the best interests of the dogs.

Marley is a delightful little chap, a typical playful terrier. He is fine around some dogs but not all and does prefer the girls 🥰

Marley is child friendly and can live with dog savvy children age 10plus. He can also live with a dog savvy cat.

Look at lovely Sooty and Elmo now 🐶♥️

This gorgeous pair had a lovely bath and groom yesterday thanks to lovely Anne Cullingford 🥰

They are now feeling and looking much better.

Sooty is age 10 and Elmo age 12, they are sweet little dogs, they are looking for a home together.

Their ideal home would be a quiet home with no other pets so they can enjoy cuddles and time with their humans. If you can offer them both a home please complete the application form.

Everyone meet Luigi (goes by Lui) He is one year old Dalmatian / ABD cross breed who is needing a new forever home 🏡

Luigi is an energetic boy who loves to play (especially tug of war and fetch). He loves to run around and tire himself out, along with long walks as well. He is eager to play with anyone and everyone in the home.

Luigi is now neutered and is looking for a new home where he can be the sole star of the house and centre of attention. Luigi does not want to live with any other animals in the house ❤️

Death in paradise beach 🏝️ or a future in the uk.🏡

These brave special boys were rescued from a kill shelter in guadeloupe. These boys have so much love and affection to give , they settled very quickly into their rescuers home and will readily adapt to a new home now. They are individuals each with own endearing personality they would thrive in separate homes with responsible people and safe secure garden.

Loupie is a 2 year old crossbreed super friendly with everyone and would suit a family home. He seems fine around other dogs when out and about walking. He loves his tasty treats. He is a perfect boy in the house very clean. He is looking for a loving understanding home. 🏡

Guarda is a 2 year old crossbreed, loves to be stroked and fussed and enjoys his sausages on closedown 😍 he enjoys his walks and seems fine around other dogs. He would suit an adult home he especially loves the ladies. Once settled in a home guarda loves to curl up on the sofa 🏡

Bridie is still looking for a home
This lovely little staffie just wants to have her own home .

Bridie is a 3 year old bulldog/Staffie crossbreed. She was an unclaimed stray from the pound.

She was adopted not long ago but unfortunately she is being returned due to sudden ill health of her owner. Bridie truly is a fabulous lady, she is a gentle soul who just doesn’t want to be in kennels.

She loves her friends here but it’s not the same as being curled up next to your forever humans 💔

Unfortunately it’s obviously Bridie hasn’t had much socialisation in her previous home, she can be reactive to dogs although is coming on leaps and bounds. She loves her walks and rolling around in the grass. So far she’s loved a fuss of all staff and volunteers at Carla lane and won’t say no to a treat or three! 🍪

Dear Carla Lane rescue centre.
This week we said night to our beautiful dog Daisy. She came to us as a 2 year old rescue dog from yourselves .She has been with us for more than 14 years. She has been the most beautiful loving, gentle, happy and playful dog. She has brought so much joy to our family and we will miss her terribly. Thank you for all the hard work you do to keep animals safe. We will make a donation of £100 in memory of Daisy.

I was abandoned with my brother's and sisters and was very scared and hungry but the lovely people at CLAIN rescued us and we have been getting lots of love, food and cuddles 🥰
My brother's and sisters have all been adopted so it's just me waiting.

Patterdales Kenny 🐕 and Peggy 🐕 along with their humans, Jane🚶and Ian🚶‍♂️ will be walking the 75 mile Great Glen Way 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 in August to raise funds for us and their other chosen doggie charities🐾❤️. You may remember them walking the 96 mile West Highland Way last year.

We will be posting updates as they head along the trail.

6 hours to go on the auction!!! We are now up to £891 with bids on 59 items including books. So hopefully we will get to £900 for which we shall be very grateful. Tracey x

Here is our August Auction. I gave you July off for good behaviour! So this one is a biggie! Please do share this for us. Please bid. And if you bid on cheaper items please bid on a couple of items so I can combine the postage, and effectively not charge you postage on the cheaper item. We are at crisis point. Our last vet bill was £26500. This is only one of our bills. We also are paying for 4 kennels in emergency boarding. What can we do if the police or social services ask us to take pets that have been abandoned in empty properties? We always try to find a way. Every rescue is sadly in similar circumstances at the moment. We are desperate and can’t sustain this current level of need without your support. We have absolutely no space whatsoever for new cats and dogs no matter how urgent, without existing cats and dogs being adopted. Numbers of dog adoptions have dropped and virtually no adult cats are getting adopted at all. I am grateful 2 of my foster cats have been adopted to amazing homes, but my remaining 2 are likely to stay with me forever. This will limit my ability to foster, but they need a loving home, and what rescues need right now is a few miracles! We really are seeing unprecedented demand for rescue places at the moment, and it is so heartbreaking for staff having to say no to requests for help. We are honestly doing everything within our power, and now have dogs in emergency boarding too. We never ever under estimate how wonderful all our supporters are and we thank you in advance for supporting us again. A massive thank you to those who donate the goods, as well as those who bid.
