Ahead of the planned re-opening tomorrow I thought the best way of me showing you all just how wet & muddy the park is was to create this weather report 🤣
Based on the current conditions & with the rain that is still set to come over the next week, I've made the very reluctant decision to close it for a further week. I am praying the land will be a lot less saturated by Friday 1st March.
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience this will cause, but sadly this is all out of my control and if I bought my dog to a park in these conditions I wouldn't be too pleased!!!
I will be dropping an email to all of those who had booked as I appreciate not everyone is on social media.

STEPS:
📲 Simply pre-order by calling the Larder on 01664 250030 stating the time you require your order in the park and your food will be delivered through the hatch for that time. Or, feel free to browse their menu on arrival at the shelter and call in your order.
🛍️ Once you’ve finished in the park, please pop into The Larder to make payment. Their doors are open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

Over the last 1.5 days we’ve been busy making some updates to the park.
When you next visit you may notice the addition of chicken wire along the bottom of the 6ft fence making it even more secure, plus some more woodchip at the entrance.
One thing we wanted to just say is that the majority of the chicken wire is on the outside of the park, but where we couldn’t get to the outside or the ground wouldn’t allow we have had to lay the wire inside. In time the grass will grow over so it will be buried, but whilst the grass grows over please be aware that this will appear.

For the safety and convenience of everyone and our furry friends, we kindly remind you to drive and park on the other side of the main entrance gate when using the dog park. This allows you to directly let your dogs out of the car into a secure area, offering peace of mind instantly, and also ensures no one else enters the park during your booking. 🐾

Additionally, this practice helps the next user to easily identify if the park is occupied, preventing unexpected surprises of driving in and seeing someone in the wooded area should there not be a car parked. We understand this shouldn't happen if people leave within their booked time slot, so please make every effort to leave within your booked slot & park in the designated parking area otherwise it could lead to a very unpleasant encounter, as every dog is different.

Absolutely grab a coffee from The Larder, Burrough Court before your visit, but please still drive the car into the secure parking area. Remember they do deliver to the hatch!
