Dog sitting lovely Jess at the moment 🐶 she enjoyed a nice long walk with the boys. Everyone was a bit sleepy after all that walking…so it was the perfect opportunity to chill out in front of the TV when we got back 📺

Having an amazing dog sitting holiday with RPD Hogan! If you haven’t already, check out the amazing Hero Paws charity who support Hogan and his family ☺️ Hero paws - Life AFTER service do such fabulous work for retired ex-service dogs like Hogan. I have been Hogan’s dog walker since May and it has been such a rewarding process getting to be part of his journey from police work into civilian life.

We started nice and early this morning to avoid the hottest part of the day…hope everyone has managed to stay cool with their pets today and enjoyed themselves as much as Twingo and all his friends 😎

The weekend started with a meet and greet bright and early at 8 am, then it was a family walk with my wonderful husband and our dogs at Broombriggs Farm Trail. This afternoon I went on a beautiful walk with sweet Tess 🐶 and this evening I visited Terri to give her dinner, medication and cuddles 🐱

It is with a heavy heart that I share that my own darling dog, Dougie, went over the rainbow bridge on Monday.

My husband and I are absolutely devastated and still can’t believe he is gone. He was only 6 years old and was such a big character, always ready for a game.

About 3 weeks ago, Dougie was bitten by a cat that had wandered into our garden. Even though he endured 4 surgical procedures over the past two weeks, his little body just couldn’t heal.

The team at Oakham Veterinary Hospital were absolutely amazing and provided such fantastic care for him right until the end.

Walkies are continuing as normal this week and it has been a great comfort to be surrounded by all my regular doggies.

So wonderful to see this little pup again after his holiday! We had a very exciting day and even saw a horse on one of our walkies 😮 then it was back home for some playtime with his bumblebee and a nap 😴
