When Rave showed up lame last Feb and subsequently diagnosed with possible cruciate damage I thought that was it for her agility career. Very happy to see her and Rog enjoying their partnership again today, after months of rest, gentle exercise and building her body again.

I am looking at running a puppy class in Kirby Bellars village hall starting Weds June 2and evening. 6 week course. If anyone is interested please comment or pm me. I will need 5 pups to run the course.

New puppy class starting Saturday 10th April - outdoor venue. This will be a 4 week course limited to 5 puppies. The course is suitable for puppies up to 20 weeks old and will cover basic exercises including loose lead walking, recall, positions, wait, meeting and greeting other dogs and common puppy issues. The class will last an hour. We use rewarding and play based methods in our training classes. For more info please PM me or email to [email protected]

We offer Rally Obedience classes - great fun for all breeds. This is Isobel and Ruby (Hungarian Puli) in training. And they have started competition - a great way to have a fun day with your dog and socialise with like minded doggy people

Clicker training with Chaos. This vid shows what you can do with a clicker. Our new classes will incorporate an intro to clicker training and using this fun equipment helps owners to understand how it works, how trainable their dogs can become and teaches dogs to be confident and to offer behaviors - as well as creating a great relationship between owner and dog. Also see Rave sitting calmly on the bed in the background - she has learnt to wait her turn.

I now have a village hall venue (Kirby Bellars) for Wednesday evenings 7pm to 9pm. I will be offering 2 classes. 7pm to 8pm puppies and young dogs. (Dogs should be sociable and comfortable working in a group environment ) working on life skills and introduction to clicker training. 8pm to 9pm older dogs/rescue dogs/rehomes again working on life skills and clicker training and rally type obedience.. Both classes are suited to pet dogs, owners looking to do a bit more with their dogs and an introduction to sports dog skills (agility and rally obedience). Whatever you want from your dogs the training is the same - it must be fun, positive and show you how to get the best from your dogs. Complete telephone back up and 121 offered for dogs not ready for a group class. Video of clicker training to follow using some fantastic kit kindly donated by Stuart Lock. Come and learn how your dogs learn in a fun way.
