It was my absolute pleasure to sit in the judges chair and watch Dick Roper walk to the post for the first time in about 5 years at Moreton Nursery, that I can remember. There are some things you don’t lose - experience, sheep sense and sense of humour. Made my day.

Presentation of Logan Whistle and Lanyard to Sean Mynard and Vince Beech by Kevin Evans, for services to local trials. Many trials would struggle to take place without their help and dedication.

With the very wet winter time has run away from me to offer another zoom. I am however planning another zoom clinic with the open season almost upon us. Once lambing is out of the way perhaps Mid May might be an idea. Please register your interest either through the WhatsApp group if you are a member or pm me. I am also planning some training clinics at Braunston in Rutland.

Launde Open Brace trial 8th June only - Maximum 4 entries.
A running order will be drawn.
An evening meal on 8th will be organised so please notify us of your interest and numbers.
Accomodation details to follow shortly.
Top 3 winners from each day to qualify for a Double Gather championship at the conclusion of Sundays running - Any one handler may only run maximum of 2 dogs in the final.
£10 per dog Singles. £7per pair Brace. Maximum three dogs per day. Please message me and I will forward bank details which are different to last years so please delete. Any of the top 6 prize winners to be asked to judge the following year. Any of the winners from the two days not qualifying for the championship may be asked to judge the championship. Payment required to guarantee a place.

English National Res Brace Champions 2023-Kemi Lara and Pip.
Perhaps the hardest any dogs have ever worked for me. I asked the impossible and they gave it. Sadly many those moments were out of shot but firmly engraved on my brain. Alas I remain the king of 2nds. Lara was Res Singles Champion last year.
