Dog training requires plenty of time and dedication from the owner, to maintain constant improvements throughout the dog’s life. In the ideal world this includes training in all weather conditions, 365 days a year, and not just for 5 mins when the sun is shining! Remember:

Whatever the breed and age of your dog, training ideally should be carried out on a daily basis. The o

ptimum type and amount of time training will vary according to owner and dog, but I will work with you to ensure you are able to factor your bespoke training programme into everyday life. Training can involve dealing with:

- loose leash walking
- recall & obedience training
- jumping, mouthing, biting
- barking, chewing
- toilet training
- crate training
- socialisation & environmental training
- lead reactivity
- separation anxiety
- aggression

We can work on only some of the above issues within a group class, however all of these issues can be dealt with within a one to one session. We highly recommend that you book a one to one session before you start on one of our group classes.

Nice little pack walk yesterday! We started with some advanced obedience, mainly impulse control in the park, then popped into a few shops on the way to the busy town centre. We continued to 😍 then a quick stop at ☕️ and finished our walk with some very tired dogs!

We had a special team today, including Luna-Tic, who is a regular. Today her owner was unable to attend but we are excited to be collaborating with Chloe at , who can join our pack walks, workshops or classes with your dog if you are unable to.

If you would like your dog to join our sessions, but can’t make it yourself, consider using Chloe - she includes picking up and dropping off your dog.

Pack walks are a great way of socialising your dog in different environments.
Please note that if you haven’t trained with us before, your dog has to be assessed to be able to join the pack walks.

Please wear appropriate footwear; bring your dog’s main meal and high value treats if needed, their favourite toy, a long lead (if you have one), a normal training lead and their collar.

If the weather is unsuitable for a pack walk, we’ll change it to an undercover obedience workshop.

Many dogs love chasing other animals, like sheep, birds and rabbits whilst out for a walk in the fields. When this happens, they not only cause distress to the other animal, but also injure or sometimes kill them.

At this workshop we will be working around sheep and/or chickens and ducks. We will cover:

- Dog’s body language - what to look out for
- Arousal levels
- Impulse control
- Management techniques

Obedience workshop

We mainly focus on obedience, or if you have any specific request that you would like to work on, we will deal with that if the training environment is suitable. You don’t need to stay for the whole session but we do need to know in advance your expected arrival and departure times so we can make sure that there is availability. You can even just attend without a dog and learn by watching others.
Please note that when a dog is not working, ideally they should rest in the car or on a bed (we provide it) and wait for its turn and so they don’t affect those who are taking their turn.

Please wear appropriate footwear; bring your dog’s main meal and high value treats if needed, their favourite toy, a long lead (if you have one), a normal training lead and their collar.

Training a young dog to loose lead walk can be hard sometimes, as they are so curious of the outside world, they want to go up to everyone and everything. Some key points to consider: - keep your walks short - to expose them to different environments, drive to a new place rather than walk 20 minutes to get there - hand feed them: use their daily food as a reward - reinforce every single time when they are engaging (checking-in) - only move when the lead is slack #looseleadwalking #dogtrainingisfun #redsetter

This obstacle is hard enough for a dog to move or stand on; but not for Greta, who is incredibly agile and has an amazing proprioception. I always try and find a challenging exercise for her. This time we practised impulse control on this obstacle. She was left there and we (me and the owners) walked out of her sight. She’s done pretty well, just need to polish this task a tiny bit more 🤗 well done Greta! 👏 #proprioception #dogparkour #gsp #everydayistrainingday

I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to start training as soon as your get a dog. Bella’s owner signed up to our training package which covers basic skills like recall, sit, down, loose lead walk and socialisation.
